KR The Kroger Options Ahead of Earnings

Analyzing the options chain of KR The Kroger prior to the earnings report this week,
I would consider purchasing the 45usd strike price Calls with
an expiration date of 2023-6-16,
for a premium of approximately $2.04.
If these options prove to be profitable prior to the earnings release, I would sell at least half of them.

KR trading at $47.52 ahead of earnings. Price target reached. Haven`t monitored the options, but i suppose they were up about 40% at some point.
