This surge indicates a continuation of its strong recovery from the $1,810 level, which was a seven-month low reached last week. The geopolitical tensions in the Middle East have reinstated gold as a preferred safe-haven asset, while the recent decline of the US Dollar (USD) has further supported its rise. Additionally, the decrease in global bond yields has contributed to the rally by benefiting the non-yielding yellow metal.
