This rumour was started on some random blog where it was picked up by a couple of twitter users, after news outlets picked up the news and started posting it without any check of authenticity. Market selling off as we speak.

@Litecoin DELETED the tweet where they announced said partnership. The twitter is afaik not run by the LTC devs themselves.

The blog that started this rumour was the same blog which announced other big companies adopting Bitcoin, which all ended up to be fake.
