QUIT RELYING ON AUTOMATED BACK TESTING
I'm not going to do the math. But anyone is more than welcome to tally up the real results if they manually back tested. I simply use trend line cross alerts to find TP and SL.
In this chart the MACD strategy is confirming good entry points. But it back tests by closing positions only when the reverse entry alert fires off. (long to short or short to long)
This is wasteful and laziness. I've spend hundreds of hours trying to find good automated exit strategies. Nothing comes close to manually setting up exit strategies!!
Let the indicator find solid entries = emotionless and consistency. But once you are in, now it's your job to protect your equity.
Remember to use the Volume Osc to help you make decisions as I explained in original chart!
