The way we move into which boxes, and if so, will tell much and offer opportunities. We all know that the US stock market is in for some volatility as the elections draw nearer. This movement seems to have been caused by the stock market and it is then fair to assume that the real decisions will be made once it opens again. It will also then be fair to assume that the futures will speculate heavily on what the stock market will do, so volatility upon volatility.
My current forecast is that we could hit boxes 1 or 2. 1 being the more likely, because of the fierce support we have found at 10 000. If so, then we are open to targets 1 and 2 above the price.
Box 2 would cause a lot of consternation and possibly over-performance beyond target 1 to target 2 below the price.
Unfortunately, the most likely path for me now is by going in between box 1 and 2 to A and B where the speculations would really start.
My conclusion: Keep an eye out for a chart pattern revealing itself over the weekend and anticipate the speculation to start, in earnest, once the big boys can do so.
