Strength
Volume/Rsi Overbought/oversoldI present you my last indicator. A volume indicator that indicates overbought and oversold based on the rsi, I chose the rsi because the most used surment, this indicator allows you to identify the overbought and oversold areas of the rsi with the colors blue (oversold) and orange (overbought ) on the volume indicator! Hoping that you are useful
Relative StrengthRelative strength is a ratio between two assets, most often a stock and a market average (index). This implementation uses the method described here and the second method described here to calculate its value: "To calculate the relative strength of a particular stock, divide the percentage change over some time period by the percentage change of a particular index over the same time period". This indicator oscillates around zero. If the value is greater than zero, the investment has been relatively strong during the selected period; if the value is less than zero, the investment has been relatively weak. The period and the comparative symbol can be set in the settings for the indicator (the defaults are 50 and SPX), there you can also find an option to turn on a moving average.
SBR_Trade_signalThis indicator is based on true strength indicator with wave trend oscillator.
Disclaimer: All the signals it is giving is based on the market movements only. I am not responsible for your PNL if you follow this indicator.
*Caution: Beta version
Trend Strength BuddyOne of the indicators in the "Trend Buddy" suite.
This indicator plots the oscillator at the bottom of the chart and colors the candles according to trend strength.
The oscillator can be used to identify divergence in several ways
If price is moving one way and the oscillator another, it can mean that the trend is gearing up to change. Example: above, in Bancor ( BNTBTC )
If price is making higher highs/lower lows and the oscillator is not, it can signal that the current trend is weakening. Example: see vertical lines
Legend of candle colors
strong uptrend - green
weakening uptrend - olive
weakening downtrend - maroon
strong downtrend - red
Note that the healthiest uptrends will show an oscillator value greater than zero (vice versa for downtrends). Using deflections of the zero-line can help filter our false trend changes.
This Suite of indicators is actively being developed and researched. Please contact me directly for more information.
Volume Strength Candles / Colored BarsIs Price Action Higher or Lower on STRONG or WEAK VOLUME from lookback
(Strong or Weak Bulls // Strong or Weak Bears)
Candles / Bars Indicate the Following (default 13 period lookback / Length)
MAROON Bear Candle with STRONG VOLUME more than 150% of the lookback / length (13 default), STRONG Bear Candle Confirmed With Volume
RED Bear Candle while VOLUME is BETWEEN 50% & 150% of the Lookback / Length (13 default), Neutral Bear Volume Neither strong or weak
ORANGE Bear Candle with WEAK VOLUME (Less than 50% of the Length / Lookback)
DARK GREEN Bull Candle with STRONG VOLUME MORE than 150% of lookback
GREEN Bull Candle with Neutral VOLUME BETWEEN 50% & 150% of the lookback / Length
AQUA Bull Candle with WEAK VOLUME less than 50% of the Lookback
Is price confirmed by volume?
Can Change the Lookback / Length from 13
Can Change the Colors and Transparency to easily see based off your chart background colors I recommend ZERO Transparency to easily identify volume strength (i use white background but many use black or other)
Strenght and MomentumThe scope of this script is to measure momentum and strenght of EURO and DOLLAR using their indexes.
Forza (line) above 0 means EURO is stonger than DOLLAR
Momento (histogram) above 0 means EURO has a positive momentum against DOLLAR
The added value to see MACD and RSI directly on EURUSD chart is that indexes consider also other pairs so their RSI and MACD has a larger view on forex markets.
Script has also an option for multi timeframes.
I think that could be used as filters for LONG or SHORT positions in lower time frames.

Pinks Moving Average SignificanceThis indicator is meant as a means to assess the significance ("strength") of a Moving Average , in other words how likely it is that price action is going to find support or resistance at the MA.
How it works
When the high or low of a candle is within the band around the MA defined by the "fuzziness" parameter, the significance of the MA increases proportional to how close the wick is to center of the band. When the price crosses fully through the band, its significance decreases. The strength will slowly decrease based on the "Lag Length" parameter.
The significance of the MA can be seen from the strength of its bands color.
How to use
MA Length: The length of the Moving Average.
Fuzziness : Width of the MA band, in percent.
Lag Length: How slowly the MA strength changes.
Source: Source data for Moving Average.
SMA Cross Penalty: How strongly the strength of the MA is reduced when price crosses it. Recommended to leave at default value.
Full color at : When the MA is at this percentage of its full strength, the color of the band will be completely opaque.

XPloRR MA-Trailing-Stop StrategyXPloRR MA-Trailing-Stop Strategy
Long term MA-Trailing-Stop strategy with Adjustable Signal Strength to beat Buy&Hold strategy
None of the strategies that I tested can beat the long term Buy&Hold strategy. That's the reason why I wrote this strategy.
Purpose: beat Buy&Hold strategy with around 10 trades. 100% capitalize sold trade into new trade.
My buy strategy is triggered by the fast buy EMA (blue) crossing over the slow buy SMA curve (orange) and the fast buy EMA has a certain up strength.
My sell strategy is triggered by either one of these conditions:
the EMA(6) of the close value is crossing under the trailing stop value (green) or
the fast sell EMA (navy) is crossing under the slow sell SMA curve (red) and the fast sell EMA has a certain down strength.
The trailing stop value (green) is set to a multiple of the ATR(15) value.
ATR(15) is the SMA(15) value of the difference between the high and low values.
The scripts shows a lot of graphical information:
The close value is shown in light-green. When the close value is lower then the buy value, the close value is shown in light-red. This way it is possible to evaluate the virtual losses during the trade.
the trailing stop value is shown in dark-green. When the sell value is lower then the buy value, the last color of the trade will be red (best viewed when zoomed)(in the example, there are 2 trades that end in gain and 2 in loss (red line at end))
the EMA and SMA values for both buy and sell signals are shown as a line
the buy and sell(close) signals are labeled in blue
How to use this strategy?
Every stock has it's own "DNA", so first thing to do is tune the right parameters to get the best strategy values voor EMA , SMA, Strength for both buy and sell and the Trailing Stop (#ATR).
Look in the strategy tester overview to optimize the values Percent Profitable and Net Profit (using the strategy settings icon, you can increase/decrease the parameters)
Then keep using these parameters for future buy/sell signals only for that particular stock.
Do the same for other stocks.
Important : optimizing these parameters is no guarantee for future winning trades!
Here are the parameters:
Fast EMA Buy: buy trigger when Fast EMA Buy crosses over the Slow SMA Buy value (use values between 10-20)
Slow SMA Buy: buy trigger when Fast EMA Buy crosses over the Slow SMA Buy value (use values between 30-100)
Minimum Buy Strength: minimum upward trend value of the Fast SMA Buy value (directional coefficient)(use values between 0-120)
Fast EMA Sell: sell trigger when Fast EMA Sell crosses under the Slow SMA Sell value (use values between 10-20)
Slow SMA Sell: sell trigger when Fast EMA Sell crosses under the Slow SMA Sell value (use values between 30-100)
Minimum Sell Strength: minimum downward trend value of the Fast SMA Sell value (directional coefficient)(use values between 0-120)
Trailing Stop (#ATR): the trailing stop value as a multiple of the ATR(15) value (use values between 2-20)
Example parameters for different stocks (Start capital: 1000, Order=100% of equity, Period 1/1/2005 to now) compared to the Buy&Hold Strategy(=do nothing):
BEKB(Bekaert): EMA-Buy=12, SMA-Buy=44, Strength-Buy=65, EMA-Sell=12, SMA-Sell=55, Strength-Sell=120, Stop#ATR=20

NetProfit: 385%, #Trades: 7, %Profitable: 71%, Buy&HoldProfit: 55%
AAPL(Apple): EMA-Buy=12, SMA-Buy=45, Strength-Buy=40, EMA-Sell=19, SMA-Sell=45, Strength-Sell=106, Stop#ATR=8
NetProfit: 6900%, #Trades: 7, %Profitable: 71%, Buy&HoldProfit: 2938%
TNET(Telenet): EMA-Buy=12, SMA-Buy=45, Strength-Buy=27, EMA-Sell=19, SMA-Sell=45, Strength-Sell=70, Stop#ATR=14
NetProfit: 129%, #Trade
Viperz RSI v1.2The color of the RSI inner bands will change from Purple to Green if RSI >70 and they will change to yellow if RSI >75. Nothing else has been changed from the standard RSI. Please understand I'm testing how publishing indicators works in Trading View. I have only done a minor adjustment to the RSI indicator, but I plan to do much more once I fully understand the publishing process. Thank you. Hope you enjoy. :)
STAN WEINSTEIN RS INDEX WITH NIFTYThis is an indicator for Indian markets.
It shows the relative strength of particular stock to the underlying index.
The concept of this indicator is well described in Stan Weinstein's book.
Mansfield Relative Strength Multi TrendThis indicator is an advanced studie of 'Mansfield Relative Strength Trend' indicator
Since it is too time consuming to constantly change the index, I have developed a multi-index indicator.
The default order of the indexes is:
1. S&P 500
2. Dow Jones Industrial Average
3. Nasdaq Composite
4. NYSE Composite
5. DAX
You can change all indexes in the settings if you want.
*********************************
'Stan Weinstein' developed an indicator called Relative Strength which compares the relative strength of a stock with the associated index.
This indicator combines the relative strength with Weinstein's stage analysis.
The indiacator was made for weekly stock charts only!
BUY & HOLD Conditions (green):
1. Mansfield Relative Strength is above the zero line
2. Price is above the Simple Moving Average (30)
3. Simple Moving Average (30) is rising
SELL & HOLD Conditions (red):
1. Mansfield Relative Strength is below the zero line
2. Price is below the Simple Moving Average (30)
3. Simple Moving Average (30) is falling
It is recommended to end the trade when the trend changes.

Please always remember, there is no holy grail indicator!

Follow the momentum - 2/4/8hr or Daily, take your pick. Use 2 or more TFs together for greater chance of a winning trade.
Also brilliant for spotting divergence.
This one is my favorite indicator.
Currency StrengthRepublished: The original script violated house rules by including an external link to Backtest Rookies.
Background
The currency strength indicator takes up to 4 forex pairs and calculates the average strength across all pairs. The indicator uses the pair's daily percentage change to calculate the overall strength. For flexibility, it can accept any instrument as an input. This means you can use multiple instances to track various currency strengths. It was designed with the major pairs in mind but there is no reason why it cannot be used for other FX pairs.
Note: The indicator defaults to GBP. When setting it up for other currencies, be sure to flag whether the currency is a counter currency or not.
The code is provided free and open source. Please modify it as you see fit.

Opposing Trends
Trend Strength IndicatorThis indicator uses Heiken Ashi candle data to plot trend strength signals to your chart.
Bright Green: Heiken Ashi candle data is still putting in higher lows and higher highs, and the price closed above the previous low.
Dark Green: Heiken Ashi candle closed green, but had a lower low or lower high (trend weakening).
Bright Red: Heiken Ashi candle data is still putting in lower lows and lower highs, and the price closed below the previous high.
Dark Red: Heiken Ashi candle closed red, but had a higher low or higher high (trend weakening).
Optional: I included a setting for allowing high RSI values to overrule Heiken Ashi values (disabled by default).
This kind of indicator is best used for managing open positions rather than entering trades. It works on all timeframes and instruments.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions :)
Regards,
- Matt
