My generic post for the week will quickly get overcrowded if I do not do this, plus I posted Bitcoin in its own idea today, so gold should have the same rights!
Looking at the 1 hour, a big dump happens, RSI very low, all these good things, and it is already bouncing hard.
Am I glad I looked at gold when I did, 1 hour later and I would have probably gotten there too late ^^

How good it feels to be in the green the instant I enter the trade & not in the red for 2 days before it finally goes my way :DOk now, please keep going up.
Set some alerts and forgetting about that trade as long as it does not move out of the range.
Maybe going to look at stocks meanwhile.

Looking pretty similar to what happened a month ago (and all the other dumps to support too).What to expect? Just going to monitor it.
Right now there is a new 15 min candle and it is going down.
Probably lots of noobs are selling at the 1200$ psychological level.
I hope that does not ruin my trade XD
Just fill my orders but don't panic sell so much that it keeps going down lads.
No idea what idiots are consistently selling on support and buying at resistance, but I would like to thank them.

Looking at the 1 hour chart is less stressful.5-15 minutes are too volatile they look like it's going down.
Good thing I know better than to zoom in too much :)
When a 15 min candle goes past the low of the previous one or open, it probably wipes out a few noobs.

Seriously, gold weekly RSI is at its lowest since capitulation back when it was in a big bubble and all the bubble chasers were fully invested in it (such as certain authors on trading view that are now fully invested in crypto :p)I think 1200 holds, at least for now.

I underestimated the violence of the spike on a break out of consolidation on gold,I did the same with GBPUSD, and this is not the first time this happens.Starting to see a pattern here...
For institutional traders this must be awesome, you get to get filled for really large amounts on support, thanks to legions of noobs FOMOing buying/selling breaks 1% away from support XD
For small fish like myself, it's also cool, I get to go long on a long term support at a discount.
Anyway, now I want this purple line to be support, we need to make sure we do not give up the progress we made, and at least I want a higher low.

Good thing I panic sold :DEvery one with experience says you should always stick to your trading plan.
But if you get really experienced or you were just born a demi god like me (jk relax), you start to feel when you should simply not stick to your plan.
And clearly, I was right to just abandon ship prematurly here.
Of course you really have to know what you are doing and be 100% confident.
That was not closing based on random emotions, but on "a gut feeling".
My "gut feelings" have a 99% prediction rate, hence I know I can trust them.
