The S&P 500 responded in a very positive way to Fed comments that the interest rate increase in December maybe 50 bps. Wednesday's range is the absorption of the markets response to that news. It will take new news to stimulate this market to move in a dramatic way up or down for Thursday. My expectation is a much smaller range on Thursday as the market catches its breath.
