The selling action that occurred in the S&P by the end of the session after making new highs could be buyers selling to take profits or new sellers entering the market. If it's buyers selling to take profits, then you look for correction before the market continues to higher levels. If it's new sellers entering the market, this could be a possible longer-term trend change. The next few days will give us answers to these issues. Ideally, you'd want to see weakness in Asia unchanged in Europe to create an unchanged inside type day for the US session.
