On second thought, the retrace could just be the .38 retrace not shown at 1177, basically the little peak that happened when AMZN first broke 1000.
That means 34% gain YTD then 24% downtrend from top to trough. That means it will look like .68 retrace of the yearly move... nothing too crazy.
