We are approaching the trend tunnel that was created just after Christmas with that huge pump (green lines). If we enter it and stay there, XRP has consolidated and remains in a very strong growth pattern. If we leave it downwards and get close to the USD 2.00 mark, it is my opinion, that we will see a big dump. I was hoping for some stabilization for XRP after it broke USD 2.00, but instead in jumped straight up over USD 3.00 and beyond. Now it's falling back down and it may be a much bigger fall than it would have been, had we consolidated around USD 2.00.
It starting to look to me like XRP has become a bit of a bubble in a bubble. That Ripple is a great company with great solutions for banks. But that XRP is nothing more than a way to collect capital and pump it to sell at huge profit. It seems to me like they were (are?) artificially inflating the price of XRP. For no reason other than to sell it off. I may be wrong. And I hope I am. I really like the fast and cheap transfers of XRP. But all these announcements about partnerships... They are partnerships with Ripple, but explicitly NOT with XRP. And that worries me. As soon as we hit USD 2.00 downwards, I am taking out my initial investment and keeping only the surplus which I will continue to hold long term.
