16 types of Bats. Part II.

FX:USDCAD   US-Dollar / Kanadischer Dollar
Hey, mates. Here's the resaeach work on bats that I have done about two years ago. I described the bats according the criteria mentioned on the chart. Then I did a backtesting of them on 5 year paeriod 5M timeframe. In this part of my research I post EUGBP pair results. Hope, you will find it useful. Hit the like button if you want me post similar stuff further.
This pattern was found by the MPS-5.2 pattern recognition software: https://goo.gl/viM3Ya

It'll be awesome if u can incorporate the winning rate stated here in your future live analysis so as for newbies like me to identify what a real life examples of some of these patterns looks like

@harryexe, It is already icorporated. All my patterns posted here are SNSP type. And... it will be awsome if you do your own research because trying to copy other trader's style is the most stupid idea ever. This is number one reason why so many traders fail: they don't do their own research to built up their own methodology. To consistently generate money trading my style you are to think like me. Do you have my brain? Do you have my beliefs, views, knowledge, education? Of course not. Even if I explain my methodology to you in the smallest details you won't be able to generate money. You will still be thinking your own unique way not mine. The only thing you can do is to take the information I provide as foundation and do you own research, backtest:). This is the reality of trading. One cannot become a consistently winning trader after reading books or listening to other people's stories. He should acuire speciaal trading skill practicing trading. You can practice live spending tons of money and time. Or you can practice on history. This is called backtesting or market research. Trading skills are aquired hard way. You will need 10 000 hours to aquire them. But then... Preparation pays.

@Alexander_Nikitin, Great artistic and scientific work at the same time.
Hopefully your efforts paid nice returns, cause I assume it took a long time to get through all those patterns, unless you have programmed an algorithm that recognizes the boundaries.
I have only started to trade forex seriously for the last two weeks and have come to understand it is not only about being right, preparing for the deviations is equally important.
One thing surprises me though: why do traders choose to pay commissions when they don't have to?
There are actually providers that let you trade on heir behalf and with great terms.
It would be nice to get to know your experience about brokers you have been using.

May the force be with you :-)

Alexander, I am fairly new to trading, and even newer to harmonic and Fibonacci trading. Once I started learning Elliot Wave, Fib ratios and such took on new meaning. Your information is some of the best public domain out there for those that want to learn. Thank you.

I have a couple quick questions concerning your research. Do you have stats on the number of times the various patterns occurred? I would think that would be very useful in developing a winning strategy based on patterns alone. For example the hsfdi is 70% accurate in predicting price movement. But if it only occurs once every month, it's gotta be a big winner. The snsi is only 33%, but if you trade with just 2.5:1 risk reward you are making money.

The 2nd question is about your pattern search software - in light of the above, does your program have the ability to filter which patterns it searches for? Like if I only wanted to trade patterns with 50% and above, could I do that?

And finally, is your research available with the purchase of your program?

Thank you
