"Sonm development is finished" nice words for, thank you for 42mln$, we are gone. No chance to survive in a competetive market SONM aimed at. With no dedicated developer it clearly is over. I followed this project closly and I recomend everyone to study this case since you can learn a lot about how a long planed scam looks like. Promise buy promise and never deliver, accuse others and so on.

Why? Sonm is basicly a decentralised VPS provider. Anyone can rent their power to become a VPS to someone else.
This makes it a highly centralised system, and also very insecure. The person who rents his power to you, can also see what you are doing/running. Furthermore, he can also decide to pull the plug and disconnect you.
So would you rather trust a known VPS provider with a solid reputation, or let a random internet citizen host your data and services and processes, that can see what you are doing?
I loved SONM as a project, and was looking forwards to seeing it develop more into a project that people would want to make use of. But without these crucial things, i don't see a bright future for SONM.

Now after iExec made a new collaboration with microsoft imo SONM is fully out of the game. iExec does have collaboration with Intel, IBM, Alibaba, Ubisoft, .... SONM has not a single one.
