Possible Head and Shoulders forming on ETCUSD chart

I'm only a newbie in the whole TA scene, and I do have a bias toward ETC succeeding to come out of this slump, but it's only reasonable to assume that the market can be manipulated only so much.

The whales sell and use the weak hands to further drive the price down. Once their target is reached, they buy back in, driving the price up and fueling the pre-fork mania.
