So far it is working perfectly as planned. The bottom of the price channel is around $197, but this should soon fail to act as support because of the head and shoulders in the SMIIO.

The SMIIO HAS to go down to -0.50 as per head and shoulder criteria. It is currently at -0.30, so it has a while to go yet, meaning, the bottom of the price channel is likely going to fail to hold support.

Because of this, it has no choice but to land around the HUGE horizontal support of $166 that has been acting as support/resistance since 2017.

Currently, the 200 day moving average is now at $139, closely making its way towards this pivotal $166 support region.
