THE TREND IS YOUR FRIEND!
The chart shows nearly a month of BTC upwards trend since the last china breakdown.
I traded other coins lately, which in retrospective was a mistake as Bitcoin is the mother of crypto currencies and the safest trade at the moment.
I was hesitant last week at 4800 $ to get in and now we are at 5472$ and constantly still moving up.
we shouldn´t forget BTC is the coin most of the beginners (big and small money) start trading with and that gets the most liquidity of institutional investors and media buzz and this also won´t stop
but will even get more. So holding and investing into BTC is a must for every trader trading cryptos.
Last week I read an article with big people doing price predictions that BTC could make it to 6000 by the end of the year, with some luck was even the undertone.
Today 5 days later I could see 6k next week and I am pretty sure we will see 10k next year, corrections included.

To conclude:
Buy and hold Bitcoin, sell in phases of all time highs at least part of your position. I see BTC remain the strongest currency for a long time and it is the safest crypto investment.
If you want to make higher daily gains there are different other alt coins that outperform BTC on a daily basis, but as longterm investment and this week and until we see trend reversals, I strongly recommend to get into bitcoin with part of your position.

A good strategy is also to trade other altcoins against bitcoins and raise your bitcoin volume, as bitcoin will rise in value you gain double!

Generally Bitcoin obviously has the strongest liquidity which makes it by far the best coin to trade bigger volumes with. Always check the daily volumes of a coin on the plattform your trading on coinmarketcap.com to see the 24h volume. Even a strong coin like Monero had only 500k daily volume against Euro on Kraken last weekend, so if you are trading with 100k this will generate problems with stop losses etc..
