Alex trading stragedyOverview
This script, named "ALEX TRADING STRATEGY", is a technical trading strategy designed for new investing groups. It uses a combination of various technical indicators to identify potential buying and selling opportunities in the market. The script includes the Relative Strength Index (RSI), Simple Moving Averages (SMA), Exponential Moving Averages (EMA), and Higher High Lower Low (HHLL) strategies to create a complete trading solution.
The user can change the position from long to short in the Input Settings. The script uses bar colors to indicate the current trading position. The script also has exit strategies to help manage the open trades. The user can also set the period for the various indicators used in the strategy.
The script provides various technical indicators and entry/exit signals to make the trading decision easier for the user. It also includes pivot lines, resistance and support levels to help the user make a more informed decision.
This Pine script implements a multi-indicator trading strategy that combines several technical analysis techniques for making trading decisions. The script uses the Relative Strength Index (RSI) to determine overbought and oversold conditions in the market and plots the RSI values on the chart. The RSI values above 70 are considered overbought and plotted as red upward triangles, while the RSI values below 30 are considered oversold and plotted as green downward triangles.
The script also calculates Simple Moving Averages (SMAs) with the user-defined period and plots them along with the Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs) of 20, 50, and 100 periods. Based on the crossover of the close price and the moving averages, the script enters long or short trades. The script sets the trade exit conditions as the low or high crossing the lower or upper band, respectively.
In addition to the moving average crossover, the script uses the highest high and lowest low over a user-defined period to determine long and short entries. The script plots the long and short conditions on the chart as green upward and red downward triangles, respectively. The script allows the user to switch between long and short trades by changing the input settings.
Finally, the script changes the bar colors based on the trade direction, with green bars indicating a long trade, red bars indicating a short trade, and blue bars indicating no trade. Overall, this Pine script provides a comprehensive trading strategy that combines several technical analysis techniques to make informed trading decisions.
HOW TO USE
Input Settings: In the Input Settings section, you can change the long to short position. You can also change the period value (default is 10) used to calculate the Simple Moving Average (SMA) for the Keltner channel.
Indicators: The script uses RSI (Relative Strength Index) with 14 periods as well as multiple EMAs (Exponential Moving Averages) with periods 20, 50, and 100 to help in making trading decisions.
Entry Signals: The script uses two main entry signals: (1) Keltner Channel and (2) HHLL (High-Low). When the closing price crosses above the upper band of the Keltner channel, the script generates a long signal, and when the closing price crosses below the lower band of the Keltner channel, the script generates a short signal. The HHLL strategy generates a long signal when the current high crosses above the highest high of the last "nPeriod" bars, and generates a short signal when the current low crosses below the lowest low of the last "nPeriod" bars.
Exit Signals: The script uses two exit signals: (1) Stop Loss based on Keltner channel and (2) Profit Target based on Keltner channel. The script exits the long position when the closing price crosses below the lower band of the Keltner channel, and the script exits the short position when the closing price crosses above the upper band of the Keltner channel.
To use this script, you will need to have access to a trading platform that supports PineScript, such as TradingView, and attach the script to a chart. The script will then automatically generate entry and exit signals based on the rules described above. It's important to note that this script is just a tool and not a guarantee of profit. As with any trading strategy, it's important to thoroughly test and understand the script before using it for live trading.

Simple SuperTrend Strategy for BTCUSD 4HHello guys!, If you are a swing trader and you are looking for a simple trend strategy, you should check this one. Based in the supertrend indicator, this strategy will help you to catch big movements in BTCUSD 4H and avoid losses as much as possible in consolidated situations of the market
This strategy was designed for BTCUSD in 4H timeframe
Backtesting context: 2020-01-02 to 2023-01-05 (The strategy has also worked in previous years)
Trade conditions:
Rules are actually simple, the most important thing is the risk and position management of this strategy
For long:
Once Supertrend changes from a downtrend to a uptrend, you enter into a long position. The stop loss will be defined by the atr stop loss
The first profit will be of 0.75 risk/reward ratio where half position will be closed. When this happens, you move the stop loss to break even.
Now, just will be there two situations:
Once Supertrend changes from a uptrend to a downtrend, you close the other half of the initial long position.
If price goes againts the position, the position will be closed due to breakeven.
For short:
Once Supertrend changes from a uptrend to a downtrend, you enter into a short position. The stop loss will be defined by the atr stop loss
The first profit will be of 0.75 risk/reward ratio where half position will be closed. When this happens, you move the stop loss to break even.
Like in the long position, just will be there two situations:
Once Supertrend changes from a downtrend to a uptrend, you close the other half of the initial short position.
If price goes againts the position, the position will be closed due to breakeven.
Risk management
For calculate the amount of the position you will use just a small percent of your initial capital for the strategy and you will use the atr stop loss for this.
Example: You have 1000 usd and you just want to risk 2,5% of your account, there is a long signal at price of 20,000 usd. The stop loss price from atr stop loss is 19,000. You calculate the distance in percent between 20,000 and 19,000. In this case, that distance would be of 5,0%. Then, you calculate your position by this way: (initial or current capital * risk per trade of your account) / (stop loss distance).
Using these values on the formula: (1000*2,5%)/(5,0%) = 500usd. It means, you have to use 500 usd for risking 2.5% of your account.
We will use this risk management for apply compound interest.
Script functions
Inside of settings, you will find some utilities for display atr stop loss, supertrend or positions.
You will find the settings for risk management at the end of the script if you want to change something. But rebember, do not change values from indicators, the idea is to not over optimize the strategy.
If you want to change the initial capital for backtest the strategy, go to properties, and also enter the commisions of your exchange and slippage for more realistic results.
Signals meanings:
L for long position. CL for close long position.
S for short position. CS for close short position.
Tp for take profit (it also appears when the position is closed due to stop loss, this due to the script uses two kind of positions)
Exit due to break even or due to stop loss
Some things to consider
USE UNDER YOUR OWN RISK. PAST RESULTS DO NOT REPRESENT THE FUTURE.
DEPENDING OF % ACCOUNT RISK PER TRADE, YOU COULD REQUIRE LEVERAGE FOR OPEN SOME POSITIONS, SO PLEASE, BE CAREFULL AND USE CORRECTLY THE RISK MANAGEMENT
The amount of trades closed in the backtest are not exactly the real ones. If you want to know the real ones, go to settings and change % of trade for first take profit to 100 for getting the real ones. In the backtest, the real amount of opened trades was of 194.

[Strategy]Turtle's 20day High Low Break StrategyJapanese below /
Overview
I have made this strategy mimicking the legendary traders group, Turtle’s 20days high low break strategy with more options available for take profit(TP) and stop loss(SL) conditions.
The main component of the strategy is same as my indicator, Previous N days/weeks/months high/low(see the link below) and with this strategy, you can backtest previous N days high/low break strategy.
Unlike the indicator, you can specify another previous N days high/low as TP condition. This is because Turtle used 10days low as TP condition for 20days high break buy strategy, according to articles/books about them.
ATR and other factors which is said to be used in their original strategy are not included in this strategy.
Previous N Days/Weeks/Months High Low
What is Turtle?
Turtle is the group of traders founded by Richard Dennis and William Eckhardt to prove their theory that good traders can be trained or not.
It is said that Turtle had made more than 175 million dollars over 5 years and some of the traders has become fund managers or successful individual traders even after the experiment.
What is this strategy like?
The strategy generates long entries once prices break previous N days highs and short entries when previous N days lows broken.
N is user input so you can adjust it for your own strategy.
As mentioned above, you can also specify another set of different previous N days high/low for TP conditions.
e.g. 55 days high(low) break for entry and 20days low(high) break for take profit condition.
How to use it?
What this strategy shows is almost same as the indicator, Previous N days/weeks/months high/low.
It displays previous N days/weeks/months highs and lows and you can set up entry condition based on previous N days high/low.
Previous N weeks/months highs/lows can be used as take profit points when you develop your own strategy based on this.
See the parameters below for the rest of the details.
Parameters
TP condition:
You can select from “Pips”, “When opposite entries” or “Previous high low break”.
When “When opposite entries” selected, the strategy exits the open positions when opposite directional entries happened. e.g. Long positions will be closed when short entries made.
If you would like to exit positions with specific previous N days highs/lows, you can enter N in Previous N days High/Low for TP field with “Previous high low break” selected.
SL condition:
You can select from “Pips” or “Swing High/Low”.
If “Swing High/Low” selected, left bars and right bars need input to determine swing high/low.
Note: If you select “pips” in TP/SL conditions, it currently works only for forex pairs.
What timeframe is the best for this strategy?
As this strategy is for swing trading, longer timeframes are the best.
Base on my quick check upon strategy’s performance over USD pairs in forex, daily timeframe works best, however, it could fit in with lower timeframes such as 4H and 1H by adjusting TP/SL conditions.
Look at the sample result below. The result shows the strategy’s performance for USDJPY for over 40 years on Daily timeframe and it performs fairly good with more than 2 profit factor over long period of time with up-trending equity curve.
It is just a simulation but the data shows Turtle’s strategy still works.

Previous N Days/Weeks/Months High Low
TP condition(利益確定条件):
“Pips(Pips指定)”, “When opposite entries(逆方向エントリー時)” or “Previous N days high low break(過去N日高値・安値)”から選択することができます。
“When opposite entries”
SL condition(損切り基準):
“Pips(Pips指定)”、“Swing High/Low(スウィングハイ・ロー)”から選択することができます。
“Swing High/Low”
RSI Divergence Strategywhat is "RSI Divergence Strategy"?
it is a RSI strategy based this indicator:
what it does?
it gives buy or sell signals according to RSI Divergences. it also has different variables such as "take profit", "stop loss" and trailing stop loss.
how it does it?
it uses the "RSI Divergence" indicator to give signal. For detailed information on how it works, you can visit the link above. The quantity of the inputs is proportional to the rsi values. Long trades are directly traded with "RSI" value, while short poses are traded with "100-RSI" value.
How to use it?
The default settings are for scalp strategy but can be used for any type of trading strategy. you can develop different strategies by changing the sections. It is quite simple to use.
RSI length is length of RSİ
source is source of RSİ
RSİ Divergence lenght is length of line on the RSI
The "take profit", "stop" and "trailing stop" parts used in the "buy" group only affect buys. The "sell" group is similarly independent of the variables in the "buy" group.
The "zoom" section is used to enlarge or reduce the indicator. it only changes the appearance, it does not affect the results of the strategy.
Cyatophilum Universal Oscillator TraderAn indicator to backtest and create an infinite number of strategies using any external indicator.
═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════
█ HOW IT WORKS
The indicator allows you to create your oscillator strategy and get backtest results from the Strategy Tester.
You can also create alerts for each of the strategy events.
█ HOW TO USE
Choose a strategy direction long or short that you want to create.
Always use regular candle type.
Configure your entry condition . To use any other indicator as source, it needs to be added to the chart first.
If you have the basic (free) TradingView plan, you can only have 1 indicator on your chart, and cannot use this external source feature. For this case, the indicator has a list of built-in oscillator (that can be increased upon request).
Then choose your condition: Cross over, Greater than, Pullback, Turning up, etc.
You now have your entry and should already see trades on the chart!
Next you can fine tune your entry condition or move to the risk management and filters.
Configure your stop loss
Use the stop loss feature to exit a trade at a certain loss.
You can also create a trailing stop using price % movement or ATR.
Configure your profit target
Use the Take Profit feature to set a target in percentage of price. You can also make it trail.
Configure your safety orders
This indicator has a safety orders feature to reduce the risk of your trade. See more below.
Check your backtest parameters
Make sure that the initial capital and order size make sense. Since it is a pyramiding strategy with safety orders, the sum of all deals should not be bigger than the initial capital.
If you use % equity as order size, please note that it will create compounding.
Check the fees, by default they are set to 0.1%.
I also recommend to set a slippage that corresponds to your exchange's spread.
█ FEATURES
• Strategy direction
Configure to go long or short.
• Entry Conditions
- External Oscillator source
- Built-in Oscillator (for basic plans)
- Base Condition for entry (Less/Greater than, Crossing Up/Down, Pullback Bull/Bear, Turning Up/Down, etc. More can be added later on)
- Additional Momentum Condition: Oscillator should be rising/falling for x number of bars
- Addition Threshold Condition: Oscillator should be Greater/Lowser than x
• Trend Filter
Filter Trades using 1 or 2 moving averages (MTF), based on Slop Change or Price Cross. Trend line is green = only longs, red = only shorts.
• Entry Filters
- Volume filter to remove low volume entries
- Overbought/Oversold filters
- Flat market Filter
• Stop Loss and Take Profit
Configure your stop loss and take profit for long and short trades.
You can also make a trailing take profit and trailing stop.
• DCA (Safety orders)
Create up to 100 safety orders with configurable options for step and volume scaling, take profit from total volume, base and safety order size.
• Backtest Settings
Choose a backtest period, longs or shorts, wether to use limit orders or not.
Graphics
A Backtest Results panel with additional information from the strategy tester.
A lightweight mode to remove background plots and make the indicator load faster.
█ ALERTS
The indicator is using the alert() calls: it only uses 1 alert slot to send order messages for each event (Long/Short entry, stop loss, take profit, safety order, exit timer). This means basic-free TV plans can create 1 complete strategy.
To set your alert messages, open the indicator settings and scroll to the bottom of the "inputs" tab.
Create your alert after you set the messages in the indicator settings, and make sure "Any alert() function call" is set in the alert option.
Use placeholders to automatically replace values in your alert messages like price, target profit, order size etc. (see the indicator inputs).
█ BACKTEST RESULTS
The backtest settings can be seen in the 'Properties' tab of the backtest report below.
Please read the author instructions below for access.
Normalized CCI Divergence StrategyStrategy Overview:
This script takes the Commodity Channel Index and normalizes the equation to be read easier by the user. Bullish, Bearish, Hidden Bullish, and Hidden Bearish divergences are identified and displayed in the underlay. Hidden Bullish and Hidden Bearish are turned off by default, but can be turned on in the user settings. The strategy itself signals long or short based on the appearance of these divergences in addition to previous CCI values being above or below a threshold. *Shorter timeframes such as 5M are recommended.* Take profit, stop loss, and trailing percentages are also included, found at the bottom of the Input tab under “TT and TTP” as well as “Stop Loss”. Make sure to understand the TP/SL ratio that you desire before use, as the desired hit rate/profitability percentage will be affected accordingly. This strategy does NOT guarantee future returns. Apply caution in trading regardless of discretionary or algorithmic. Understand the concepts of risk/reward and the intricacies of each strategy choice before utilizing them in your personal trading.
Profitview Settings
If you wish to utilize Profitview’s automation system, find the included “Profitview Settings” under the Input tab of the strategy settings menu. If not, skip this section entirely as it can be left blank. Options will be “OPEN LONG TITLE”, “OPEN SHORT TITLE”, “CLOSE LONG TITLE”, and “CLOSE SHORT TITLE”. If you wished to trade SOL, for example, you would put “SOL LONG”, “SOL SHORT”, “SOL CLOSE LONG”, and “SOL CLOSE SHORT” in these areas. Within your Profitview extension, ensure that your Alerts all match these titles. To set an alert for use with Profitview, go to the “Alerts” tab in TradingView, then create an alert. Make sure that your desired asset and timeframe are currently displayed on your screen when creating the alert. Under the “Condition” option of the alert, select the strategy, then select the expiration time. If using TradingView Premium, this can be open-ended. Otherwise, select your desired expiration time and date. This can be updated whenever desired to ensure the strategy does not expire. Under “Alert actions”, nothing necessarily needs to be selected unless so desired. Leave the “Alert name” option empty. For the “Message”, delete the generated message and replace it with {{strategy.order.alert_message}} and nothing else.

Heikin Ashi SupertrendAbout this Strategy
This supertrend strategy uses the Heikin Ashi candles to generate the supertrend but enters and exits trades using normal candle close prices. If you use the standard built in Supertrend indicator on Heikin Ashi candles, it will produce very unrealistic backtesting results because it uses the Heikin Ashi prices instead of the real prices. However, by signaling the supertrend reversals using Heikin Ashi while using standard candle close prices for the entries and exits, it corrects the backtesting errors and gives you a more realistic equity curve. You should set the chart to use standard candles and then hide them (the strategy creates the candles).
This strategy includes:
Plotting of Heikin Ashi candles
Heikin Ashi Supertrend
Long and Short Entry Signals
Move stop loss after trade is X% in profit
Profit Target
Stop Loss
Built in Alertatron automation
Alertatron Trade Automation Integration
For Alertatron integration, be sure to configure the strategy settings and "Enable Webhook Messages" before creating an alert with {{strategy.order.alert_message}} in the body of your alert message. Be sure to enable webhooks and point it to your Incoming Alertatron webhook URL.
Notes
While this strategy does pretty well during trending markets, It's worth noting that the Buy and Hold ROI is much better during peak times of the bull market
Not financial advice. Do not risk more than you can afford to lose.
Power Trend v1.0Background to the tool
The tool was built out of frustration. Having traded for many years with a reasonable level of success I was always frustrated that my trading never went up a level. The world of trading is filled with people having so much more success than me and this level of FOMO really bothered me and resulted in inconsistency and countless hours sitting in front of a screen, hoping for the best. I also became a little bit of an indicator junkie - was there a holy grail indicator out there for me? I always felt that as a retail trader I was behind the curve. I started to investigate how the major market participants trade and make money and I was astounded at the level of success that they get from creating strategies and sticking to it. The market is driven largely by a "black boxes" which, for us retail traders are outside of our ability to access. I wanted to build a tool that could give me a traders edge.
Another factor that has always bothered me was when reading investing books there is a general assumption that a standard entry, say 8/13 cross over, works on all stocks. However, it is not the case and it can be frustrating for a trader using a set up and not realizing that the set up was/is the problem, not the trader. This realization alone has made a huge impact on my trading. The big boxes that control the market know this already.
Also, a lot of indicators that are available don’t take advantage of the backtesting capability provided in Tradingview. It is fairly simple to find 8-9 trades where a set up worked and then fall into the trade of assuming that it cannot fail. Knowing which set ups work and how frequently it will print will change the way that you trade.
The goal with the tool is to identify setups that have worked in the past with a high degree of profitability, high profit factor and low drawdown and using the planning tool allows you to customize the setup to find exactly what you are looking for across any tradeable asset on TradingView.
Over the past 20 years I have realized the following:
1) Not all entries and signals work the same on all stocks and knowing the historical performance of a strategy is critical
2) Not having a plan in advance lowers your probability of success
3) Developing consistency in analysis is critical
4) Developing confidence in your own plan is more important than whose trades you try to copy
5) Having 30 indicators does not help you trade better - it leads to more frustration
So here is the product of these realisations:
1) The tool looks across the most common entry strategies (RMA / EMA / SMA / HMA / WMA cross on 5 dimensions of type and 5 common crossovers) and can be used on 19 different time frames giving you guidance on what the best set up is for the stock you are analysing
2) It incorporates volatility into the strategy – when stocks are trading outside of a predetermined volatility band, a trade will not be entered. This accommodates traders who tend to get shaken out of trades too early.
3) It looks at the impact of “buying the dip” – often a common strategy employed by many traders which now can be backtested and reviewed to see if it actually helped or hindered the trade.
4) It measures your trade plan against your R – what you are willing to risk – and calculates your target profit based on your R multiple
5) It provides a non repaint signal on your base strategy and provides you with signals to trade smaller or shorter signals within the bigger strategy.
There are some additional visual tools:
• Squeeze signals - I am a big fan of the TTM squeeze however the Squeeze by itself can be hard to trade. Seeing a squeeze fire long on a chart can add to trade confidence.
• Seeing zones of support and resistance rather than single lines can also give you some leeway in terms of not getting pushed out of a trade too soon.
The backtester is always reviewed on a multi year period to get an understanding of win rate %, profit ratio and average duration of trade. As an option trader knowing that a high probability move is playing out allows me to make sure that I don’t undercut the time frame for the expiration of the option relative to the historical average duration of a trade. Backtesting on shorter times is unrealistic.
Key benefits
1) It will save you a ton of time. I don’t have to sit in front of a screen watching ticks each day. I can plan for an entry, set an alert for a trade and when the conditions are met the TradingView system sends me a message and I will go and confirm a trade, execute it, set my alerts for control and move on with my life.
2) It allows me to review trade ideas in a consistent manner using the best trade plan and set up for a stock.
3) It forces me to be patient and not panic (always a good thing). With an adjustable volatility feature I can modify the volatility band in the trade plan to accommodate choppy market conditions.
4) It looks at both sides of the market (long and short) and you can calculate the impact of being market neutral or having a directional bias.
I hope this tool helps you to achieve some degree of peace in your trading.
MACD MTF Strategy [JoseMetal]============
ENGLISH
============
- Description:
This strategy uses my indicator MACD MTF (check my profile) to generate entries, it also has ATR to define Stop Loss and Take Profit if needed.
The strategy has several customizable options, which allows you to refine the strategy for your asset and timeframe.
You can customize settings for ALL indicator settings (MACD MTF and ATR).
- CUSTOM CONDITIONS TO ENTER A POSITION:
1. Both MACDs agree (current timeframe and higher timeframe).
2. Current timeframe MACD crossover.
3. Higher timeframe MACD crossover.
4. MACDs no longer agree with each other.
- EXIT CONDITION:
1. Predefined Stop Loss and Take Profit based on ATR (stop can be previous wick).
2. MACDs no longer agree with each other.
3. Opposite position entry.
- STOP LOSS TYPE:
1. ATR.
2. Previous wick.
- OTHER OPTIONS:
You can customize any setting for my MACD MTF and ATR.
- Visual:
ATR is shown for the Stop Loss / Take Profit.
The script prints the Take Profit as a green line, Stop Loss as a red line and entry price with a white line.
- Recommendations:
Recommended on 8H or 12H timeframe for the CURRENT timeframe, while using DAILY for the higher timeframe on the MACD MFT (by default).
Entry when BOTH MACDs agree and exit on opposite entry, this has NO TAKE PROFIT or STOP LOSS, so be careful, but gives the BEST profit overall, and being on 8H/12H + Daily lets you relax.
- Customization:
As you can see, almost everything is customizable, for colors and plotting styles check the "Style" tab.
Enjoy!

ATR Trend Run - Signals Alerts SL and TP by Tech Store OnThe script uses several ATR formulas for entering/exiting trades, support/resistance lines to take TP1 (take profit 1) and another ATR formula for TP2 (take profit 2). Everything is fully configurable to your preference, and you can back-test it via TradingView. You can also configure the indicator for signals during US trading sessions (with or without power hour), as well as taking profits/stop-loss session time(s), as well as to close a position at the end of the trading session no matter what. Also, you can turn all of that off, so there are no trading session/end of day limits and each trade will run until it either hits SL, TP1, TP1 > back to entry, TP2. Note: indicator is set to skip consecutive/opposite signals, while you currently have a trade open > if you hit a trend – ride it to the end!
For example: If you will be day trading SPY and you wish to close your positions no matter what right before the market closes (3:45PM ET > 15min before closes): Make sure to checkbox “Intraday – Close Position Before Market Closes” in the strategy/indicator Settings, so that you are alerted soon before the market closes, if you wish to continue holding the position – leave this checkbox unchecked.
SL: SL is set to be slightly above/below the signal candle, which is best suited for this strategy.
Strategy Take Profit Approach
While the initial position open and SL hit is always based on a closed candle bar (can’t do otherwise, as otherwise you will have 10s of fake signal alerts), there are 2 ways on trading this strategy in terms of TP1 and TP1 taken > back to Entry, which is based off Alert type.
You can switch this as you like within the indicator settings, “Checked: TP1 taken > back to Entry per Price Touch | Unchecked: per Candle Close”.
Candle Close vs Price Touch: with the Default method - Candle Close for an alert for TP1 or if price comes back to Entry after TP1 is taken will only be triggered once candle bar fully closes crossing the area, while Price Touch will alert when price touches the area before candle bar closes.
For example: your trade is running well, you grab TP1 and the price reverses and hits your trade Entry area. With Price Touch – you are immediately alerted to close your trade with no loss and with TP1 profit. With Candle Close - you will receive an alert only once candle bar fully closes on top of the Entry crossing it backwards, meaning it may lower your TP1 profit or even completely reverse the trade into loss in case it will be a huge candle bar for any reason. However, it may touch the Entry area, looking like the price is reversing, but then continue per initial trade direction, sometimes becoming a trend. So, while Price Touch seem like a more conservative approach, Candle Close can give you much bigger profits if you catch a trend, but you can always change it via the Settings.
Note: TradingView back-testing engine does not have a feature to open/close orders IMMEDIATELY via Price Touch trigger, but only when the candle closes after price touches the scripted area/line/etc., so you for the most accurate results, test your strategy out via Candle Close setting. Otherwise, decide yourself. I personally like more Candle Close since I can test it out via back-testing with the most accurate results.
TP2 is set per Candle Close as often the ATR trailing stop line will be hit and bounced off, so it’s best to wait until candle actually breaks it/closes through it.
Note: If you will be observing the strategy LIVE, during LIVE candle bar movement – it will look weird, like it’s placing an order after order during any trigger – this seem like a TradingView bug, but is only observational, once the candle bar is closed and you refresh TradingView it will all look correct.
Back-Testing
If you wish to do some back-testing, just modify the strategy/indicator Settings:
-----1) STRATEGY: This is for back-testing/experimenting with the script inputs.
----------a. You can setup a start date (date, month, year) from which it will start opening back-test trades, select a position size and select TP1 size, the idea here is to close half (or whatever you choose) portion of the trade once you hit your TP1, then to either close at small profit or to catch a trend and close the second portion of the position long way ahead from Entry, otherwise it will alert you to close the position at TP2, if price comes back to Entry, at reversal signal or at the end of US trading session if the option for it is checked. If you wish to close the whole position at TP1, just enter the same amount for TP1 to match backtest position size. Otherwise you can experiment with TP1 sizing – try it out!
-----2) Feel free to experiment with ATR settings and with S&R Left/Right bars, you may be amazed how results will differ and find some really cool combinations!
-----3) Make sure you select/de-select “Intraday – Close Position Before Market Closes” setting depending on what you are back-testing and on which conditions
-----4) Note: If you wish to do some deep back-testing (1+ years), use the “Deep Backtesting” feature within Strategy Tester on the TradingView as otherwise it may show wrong results or even fail to compute the results
Add the alerts
-----Right-click anywhere on the TradingView chart
-----Click on Add alert
-----Condition: ATR Trend Run - Signals Alerts SL and TP, by Tech Store On
----------o Right underneath the condition click on the drop-down menu and select “alert() function calls only”
-----Expiration time: Whatever you wish
-----Alert actions: Whatever notifications you wish
-----Alert name: DO NOT TOUCH THIS
-----Hit “Create”
-----Note: If you change ANY Settings within the indicator – you must DELETE the current alert and create a new one per steps above, otherwise it will continue triggering alerts per old Settings!
- Note: If you add the alert while the script is currently “In Position” it will not know that. So either wait when there will be no position open at all or close your position partially if the bot opens it twice bigger or so in case per script the bot will think it is already in position.
Note: Because of the slippage and the order processing time between TradingView, AutoView and the Broker (it’s usually about a second or so), it is suggested to not use a timeframe lower than 1min. The script is working really well with 1M/3M/5M/H1/H4 timeframes per my back-testing, but feel free to explore via Strategy Back-testing what’s best for the instrument you wish to trade.
If you wish to try this out for a week or so – please reach out and I will give you access.
Multi Trend Cross Strategy TemplateToday I am sharing with the community trend cross strategy template that incorporates any combination of over 20 built in indicators. Some of these indicators are in the Pine library, and some have been custom coded and contributed over time by the beloved Pine Coder community. Identifying a trend cross is a common trend following strategy and a common custom-code request from the community. Using this template, users can now select from over 400 different potential trend combinations and setup alerts without any custom coding required. This Multi-Trend cross template has a very inclusive library of trend calculations/indicators built-in, and will plot any of the 20+ indicators/trends that you can select in the settings.
How it works : Simple trend cross strategies go long when the fast trend crosses over the slow trend, and/or go short when the fast trend crosses under the slow trend. Options for either trend direction are built-in to this strategy template. The script is also coded in a way that allows you to enable/modify pyramid settings and scale into a position over time after a trend has crossed.
Use cases : These types of strategies can reduce the volatility of returns and can help avoid large market downswings. For instance, those running a longer term trend-cross strategy may have not realized half the down swing of the bear markets or crashes in 02', 08', 20', etc. However, in other years, they may have exited the market from time to time at unfavorable points that didn't end up being a down turn, or at times the market was ranging sideways. Some also use them to reduce volatility and then add leverage to attempt to beat buy/hold of the underlying asset within an acceptable drawdown threshold.
Special thanks to @Duyck, @everget, @KivancOzbilgic and @LazyBear for coding and contributing earlier versions of some of these custom indicators in Pine.
This script incorporates all of the following indicators. Each of them can be selected and modified from within the indicator settings:
ALMA - Arnaud Legoux Moving Average
DEMA - Double Exponential Moving Average
DSMA - Deviation Scaled Moving Average - Contributed by Everget
EMA - Exponential Moving Average
HMA - Hull Moving Average
JMA - Jurik Moving Average - Contributed by Everget
KAMA - Kaufman's Adaptive Moving Average - Contributed by Everget
LSMA - Linear Regression , Least Squares Moving Average
RMA - Relative Moving Average
SMA - Simple Moving Average
SMMA - Smoothed Moving Average
Price Source - Plotted based on source selection
TEMA - Triple Exponential Moving Average
TMA - Triangular Moving Average
VAMA - Volume Adjusted Moving Average - Contributed by Duyck
VIDYA - Variable Index Dynamic Average - Contributed by KivancOzbilgic
VMA - Variable Moving Average - Contributed by LazyBear
VWMA - Volume Weighted Moving Average
WMA - Weighted Moving Average
WWMA - Welles Wilder's Moving Average
ZLEMA - Zero Lag Exponential Moving Average - Contributed by KivancOzbilgic
Disclaimer : This is not financial advice. Open-source scripts I publish in the community are largely meant to spark ideas that can be used as building blocks for part of a more robust trade management strategy. If you would like to implement a version of any script, I would recommend making significant additions/modifications to the strategy & risk management functions. If you don’t know how to program in Pine, then hire a Pine-coder. We can help!
Channels Strategy [JoseMetal]============
ENGLISH
============
- Description:
This strategy is based on Bollinger Bands / Keltner Channel price "rebounds" (the idea of price bouncing from one band to another).
The strategy has several customizable options, which allows you to refine the strategy for your asset and timeframe.
You can customize settings for ALL indicators, Bollinger Bands (period and standard deviation), Keltner Channel (period and ATR multiplier) and ATR (period).
- AVAILABLE INDICATORS:
You can pick Bollinger Bands or Keltner Channels for the strategy, the chosen indicator will be plotted as well.
- CUSTOM CONDITIONS TO ENTER A POSITION:
1. Price breaks the band (low below lower band for LONG or high above higher band for SHORT).
2. Same as 1 but THEN (next candle) price closes INSIDE the bands.
3. Price breaks the band AND CLOSES OUT of the band (lower band for LONG and higher band for SHORT).
4. Same as 3 but THEN (next candle) price closes INSIDE the bands.
- STOP LOSS OPTIONS:
1. Previous wick (low of previous candle if LONG and high or previous candle if SHORT).
2. Extended band, you can customize settings for a second indicator with larger values to use it as STOP LOSS, for example, Bollinger Bands with 2 standard deviations to open positions and 3 for STOP LOSS.
3. ATR: you can pick average true ratio from a source (like closing price) with a multiplier to calculate STOP LOSS.
- TAKE PROFIT OPTIONS:
1. Opposite band (top band for LONGs, bottom band for SHORTs).
2. Moving average: Bollinger Bands simple moving average or Keltner Channel exponential moving average .
3. ATR: you can pick average true ratio from a source (like closing price) with a multiplier to calculate TAKE PROFIT.
- OTHER OPTIONS:
You can pick to trade only LONGs, only SHORTs, both or none (just indicator).
You can enable DYNAMIC TAKE PROFIT, which updates TAKE PROFIT on each candle, for example, if you pick "opposite band" as TAKE PROFIT, it'll update the TAKE PROFIT based on that, on every single new candle.
- Visual:
Bands shown will depend on the chosen indicator and it's settings.
ATR is only printed if used as STOP LOSS and/or TAKE PROFIT.
- Recommendations:
Recommended on DAILY timeframe , it works better with Keltner Channels rather than Bollinger Bands .
- Customization:
As you can see, almost everything is customizable, for colors and plotting styles check the "Style" tab.
Enjoy!

- OPCIONES DE TAKE PROFIT:
1. Banda opuesta (banda superior para LONGs, banda inferior para SHORTs).
- Visual:

This is the script for the series called "Sniper".
*** What is "Sniper" Series? ***
"Sniper" series is the project that I’m going to start.
In "Sniper" Series, I’m going to "snipe and shoot" the youtuber’s strategy: to find out whether the youtuber’s video about strategy is "true or false".
Specifically, I’m going to do the things below.
1. Implement "Youtuber’s strategy" into pinescript code.
2. Then I will "backtest" and prove whether "the strategy really works" in the specific ticker (e.g. BTCUSDT) for the specific timeframe (e.g. 5m).
3. Based on the backtest result, I will rate and judge whether the youtube video is "true" or "false", and then rate the validity, reliability, robustness, of the strategy. (like a lie detector)
*** What is the purpose of this series? ***
1. To notify whether the strategy really works for the people who watched the youtube video.
2. To find and build my own scalping / day trading strategy that really works.
**********************************************************************************
*** Strategy Description ***
This strategy is from " QQE MOD + supertrend + ssl hybrid" by korean youtuber "코인투데이".
"코인투데이" claimed that this strategy will make you a lot of money in any crypto ticker in 15 minute timeframe.
### Entry Logic
1. Long Entry Logic
- Super Trend Short -> Long
- close > SSL Hybrid baseline upper k
- QQE MOD should be blue
2. Short Entry Logic
- Super Trend Long -> Short
- close < SSL Hybrid baseline lower k
- QQE MOD should be red
### Exit Logic
1. Long Exit Logic
- Super Trend Long -> Short
2. Short Entry Logic
- Super Trend Short -> Long
### StopLoss
1. Can Choose Stop Loss Type: Percent, ATR, Previous Low / High.
2. Can Chosse inputs of each Stop Loss Type.
### Take Profit
1. Can set Risk Reward Ratio for Take Profit.
- To simplify backtest, I erased all other options except RR Ratio.
- You can add Take Profit Logic by adding options in the code.
2. Can set Take Profit Quantity.
### Risk Manangement
1. Can choose whether to use Risk Manangement Logic.
- This controls the Quantity of the Entry.
- e.g. If you want to take 3% risk per trade and stop loss price is 6% below the long entry price,
then 50% of your equity will be used for trade.
2. Can choose How much risk you would take per trade.
### Plot
1. Added Labels to check the data of entry / exit positions.
2. Changed and Added color different from the original one. (green: #02732A, red: #D92332, yellow: #F2E313)
3. SuperTrend and SSL Hybrid Baseline is by default drawn on the chart.
4. If you check EMA filter, EMA would be drawn on the chart.
5. Should add QQE MOD indicator manually if you want to see QQE MOD.
**********************************************************************************
*** Rating: True or False?
### Rating:
→ 3.5 / 5 (0 = Trash, 1 = Bad, 2 = Not Good, 3 = Good, 4 = Great, 5 = Excellent)
### True or False?
→ True but not a 'perfect true'.
→ It did made a small profit on 15 minute timeframe. But it made a profit so it's true.
→ It worked well in longer timeframe. I think super trend works well so I will work on this further.
### Better Option?
→ Use this for Day trading or Swing Trading, not for Scalping. (Bigger Timeframe)
→ Although the result was not good at 15 minute timeframe, it was quite profitable in 1h, 2h, 4h, 8h, 1d timeframe.
→ Crypto like BTC, ETH was ok.
→ The result was better when I use EMA filter.
### Robust?
→ Yes. Although result was super bad in 5m timeframe, backtest result was "consistently" profitable on longer timeframe (when timeframe was bigger than 15m, it was profitable).
→ Also, MDD was good under risk management option on.
**********************************************************************************
*** Conclusion?
→ I recommend you not to use this on short timeframe as the youtuber first mentioned.
→ In my opinion, I can use on longer timeframe like 2h or bigger with EMA filter, stoploss and risk management.

Monthly Returns of a Strategy in a ChartIt's a simple example of how you can present your strategy's monthly performance in a chart.
You maybe know that there is no support of these kind of charts in TradingView so this chart is actually a table object under the hood.
Table visual appearance is customizable, you can change:
Location
Bar Width / High
Colors
Thanks to @MUQWISHI for hard work, for helping me coding it.
It's not about the strategy itself but the way you display returns on your chart. So pls don't critique my choice of the strategy and its performance 🙂
Disclaimer
Please remember that past performance may not be indicative of future results.
Due to various factors, including changing market conditions, the strategy may no longer perform as well as in historical backtesting.
This post and the script don’t provide any financial advice.
ALMA/EMA/SRSI Strategy + IndicatorBack with another great high hit rate strategy!!
Disclaimer* This strategy was sampled using source code written by @ClassicScott , as referred to in the script, there is a clear line where the source code was scripted by myself.
This Strategy consists of three key factors, the ALMA, EMA crossover, and a Stochastic Rsi
ALMA: The Alma is the step line shown, turning green and red at select times. This average value gives general oversight of the macro movement of price action. and this particular one was coded by Mr.ClassicScott.
EMA crossover: At the input screen you are given an option of the fast and slow ema's. The default is solely for the hit rate and correlation to the Alma of this strategy. The arrows you see depicted on the chart are the crossover events happening.
Stochastic Rsi: The Stochastic Rsi is a stochastic value, using data sampled from the rsi. The use of this indicator in my strategy is to prevent entries when too overbought and oversold, as well as closures and vice versa, to prevent holding bags either way.
Fixed % TP: In the input screen you are given a take profit and stop loss percentage, for good R/R the hit rate will take a notch down, but with no R/R it will be near perfect.
How to use this:
Add it to your chart to get the strategy inputs. (The strategy is really only useful on a 15min TF. However the indicator within it can be used on anything at anytime!)
Watch the yellow and aqua moving averages, these are your ema's and crossover's will trigger signals based on your integer inputs.
Find Correlation between other leading indicators, as well as crossover's down/up and a red/green alma.
DO NOT use the arrows as buy/sell signals. These are simply to show ema's are crossing under or over. Momentum indicator's paired with this can be useful to determine if it could be a buy signal or sell signal.
Cheat Code's Notes:
Almost at 1000 boosts!!! I appreciate the support from everyone and I will keep trying my best to deliver quality strategies for the people.

MA trading Tool V2.0Background to the tool
6) This includes elements from the Squeeze Tool namely the histogram and. stochastic entry and exit criteria
The backtester is always reviewed on a 2 to 3 year period to get an understanding of win rate %, profit ratio and average duration of trade.

Smoothed Heikin Ashi Trend on Chart - TraderHalai BACKTESTSmoothed Heikin Ashi Trend on chart - Backtest
This is a backtest of the Smoothed Heikin Ashi Trend indicator, which computes the reverse candle close price required to flip a Heikin Ashi trend from red to green and vice versa. The original indicator can be found in the scripts section of my profile.
This particular back test uses this indicator with a Trend following paradigm with a percentage-based stop loss.
Note, that backtesting performance is not always indicative of future performance, but it does provide some basis for further development and walk-forward / live testing.
Testing was performed on Bitcoin , as this is a primary target market for me to use this kind of strategy.

Analysis:
The strategy is typical amongst trend following strategies with a less regular win rate, but where profits are more significant than losses. Most of the losses are in sideways, low volatility markets. This strategy performs better on higher timeframes, where it shows a positive expectancy of the strategy.
The average win was positively impacted by Bitcoin’s earlier smaller market cap, as the percentage wins earlier were higher.
Overall the strategy shows potential for further development and may be suitable for walk-forward testing and out of sample analysis to be considered for a demo trading account.
Note in an actual trading setup, you may wish to use this with volatility filters, combined with support resistance zones for a better setup.
As always, this post/indicator/strategy is not financial advice, and please do your due diligence before trading this live.

Update - 27/06/2022
Unfortunately, It appears that the original script had been taken down due to auto-moderation because of concerns with no slippage / commission. I have since adjusted the backtest, and re-uploaded to include the following to address these concerns, and show that I am genuinely trying to give back to the community and not mislead anyone:
1) Include commission of 0.1% - to match Binance's maker fees prior to moving to a fee-less model.
2) Include slippage of 10 ticks (This is a realistic slippage figure from searching online for most crypto exchanges)
3) Adjust account balance to 10,000 - since most of us are not millionaires.
The rest of the backtesting parameters are comparable to previous results:
Backtesting parameters:
Initial capital: 10000 dollars
Position size: 10% of equity
Long stop: 2% below entry
Short stop: 2% above entry
Repainting: Off
Smoothing: SMA
Period: 10
Slippage: 10 ticks
Commission: 0.1%
This script still remains to shows viability / profitablity on higher term timeframes (with slightly higher drawdown), and I have included the backtest report below to document my findings:
8 Hour:
Number of Trades: 1082
Gross Return: 233.02%
CAGR Return: 14.04 %
Max Drawdown: 7.9 %
Win percentage: 25.6%
Profit Factor (Expectancy): 1.627
Average Loss: 0.46 %
Average Win: 2.18 %
Average Time for Loss: 1.33 day
Average Time for Win: 7.33 days

3C Crossover with TTP & TSLThis is not a set and forget strategy. It needs constant tweaking to maintain a high winrate. Also what works on one pair can be horrible on another.
This strategy works best on the 1 min or 5 min TF but also works well on the 15 min. Haven't done any testing in higher TF's as im only interested in scalping.
If enabled you can retrive data for the filters on any TF.
The strategy do not repaint.
You do not need a 3c subscription to run this strategy as the bot turns on and off the bot itself.
Instructions for the 3commas connector:
1. First, you need to prepare 3commas Long/Short bots that will only listen to custom TV signals.
2. Inputs for the 3commas bot can be found at the end of the user inputs.
3. Once you have entered the required details into the inputs, turn on 3commas comments. They should appear on the chart (looks messy).
4. Now you can add the alert where you should paste the 3commas Webhook URL: 3commas.io
5. For the alert message text insert the placeholder {{strategy.order.comment}} and delete the rest. 6. Once the alert is saved, you can turn off those 3commas comments to have a clearer chart.
7. With a new alert, the bot and trade should launch.
Long or Short trades are determined with a crossing of the fast MA over the slow MA for Long and the opposite for Short. By checking Close position on MA cross the deal will close on a crossover/under of the 2 MA's
You can select from various different MA's and of course lenghts. You can add both EMA filter on any lenght aswell as ATR to determine to go long or short.
Using the MA gap can help you to not enter trades in a low volatile ranging market.
The RSI filter, sets the maximum RSI threshold for a long position and the minimum for a short. By default and what i recomend is that you enter Longs when RSI is above 50 and shorts when RSI are below 50.
-You can set confirmation of the trade direction with RSI , i.e. for Long the RSI must rise a specified number of bars back, vice versa for Short.
Enabling the pullback filter is great to avoid Longing tops and Shorting bottoms.
Stop loss can be set be either a fixed percentage or by using ATR
Take profit can be set by using percentage, ATR or RiskReward ratio(RR). if you use ATR as a stoploss i recomend using RR as the TP.
Yu can choose to trail the TP with either Percentage or ATR
Whats ahead. I really want to incorporate RSI divergencies, but haven't figured out how yet. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Have a look at my other strategies. They are similar to this but works abit differently.
