The blue marked lines represent my key decision making points as to whether I would short or go long in Nifty_Mid_Select on 07/04/2025.
Note:
A medium term trend can be bullish or bearish. I never confuse myself by merging the medium term trend and an intraday trend.
Example: Considering the current trend to be bearish doesn't imply that intraday trade will be bearish. If the market opens at a gap down or at support, the market
might retrace back to the resistance line (implying that an intraday trade position would be a long position rather than a short position and vice versa).
A trade setup really depends as to where the market opens up. Hence a trade setup view can be taken only after the indices open in the live market.
Like I said, I trade what I see and not what I assume.
****There are 4 indices that I watch out during intraday. I try not to trade multiple indices on any given day. I prefer to Select one of the below indices based on the trade setup and the best possible scenario (Risk versus reward).
Nifty
Bank Nifty
Midcap
Sensex
