MSFT has basically been consolidating within the same range since the beginning of August. The stock is in a neutral state at the moment, just waiting for either a breakout or a breakdown. You either have to sit on your hands or you can take the short-term trades as it bounces from resistance to support. Important to note that if you believe the market might pull back a bit sometime soon then it will probably drag MSFT down with it.
Anmerkung
MSFT broke out today along with the market but pulled back the rest of the day. By the market close, the stock has a long upper shadow & turned red on the day. The price is still above the breakout level but for any kind of long position, I would want to see continued strength. Any pullback in price may suggest that today's candle is a Shooting Star candlestick.
