MFA Financial: Possible Upside Breakout Developing? I Think Yes
What does an upside breakout look like BEFORE it happens?
The chart above leaves clues.
Here is a summary for the positives in-MFA:
1. Currently two buy Fractals, but not on this chart. They are on the daily chart.
2. The lower indicator under the chart is CHOP; readings below the shaded area (38.2) indicate a strong trend, it is now below that level.
Note the jump in price as the CHOP went below the shaded area.
3. The top lower indicator is phase energy, and this is positive. Note the jump in phase energy as CHOP went below 38.2.
4. The alligator IS WAKING UP and is feeding in the uptrend.
5. RSI / Stochastic (top indicator) is strong.
6. Prices are heading above the Ichimoku Cloud .
7. Prices are trading above the thick red Ichimoku Cloud conversion line.
8. Prices are trading above the Ki jun-Sen baseline of the Ichimoku Cloud
All of the things I look for to have an up-trend breakout are happening.
In my opinion MFA-is breaking out to a new bullish trend.
