• ↓ 100 pips High & Low extreme move, vs. 49.9 pips of 22 day Average Range.
Strength (0~10) Comparison:
• USD in early session MEDIUM 6.0 -> 9.0 STRONG of late session
• EUR in early session WEAK 2.5 -> 3.3 WEAK of late session
Market Focus & Moods:
• The US dollar moved sharply higher today and in the process hit new year-to-date highs. The dollar has risen for four consecutive sessions. That pause in the rate rise did not hurt the dollar demand, the dollar reached a new 2021 high verse the EUR, GBP, and JPY.
• Thursday, morning, 7am German Unemployment, 8am ES Retail Sales, 10am European Unemployment;
Afternoon, 1:30pm US Ini. Jobless Claims, GDP Q2, PCE ; 3pm US Fed Williams Speech, 4pm Fed Bostic Speech;
Next Step:
• Due to Quarter / Month End Day, I expect a test:
- Resistances 1st 1.1604, 2nd 1.1625, 3rd 1.1650;
- Support at 1st 1.1590, 2nd 1.1575, 3rd 1.1555;
- Close around 1.1555~ 1.1580 area.
