I've closed my short recently. However i'm waiting with taking any long position yet due our little bitcoin civil war served us by consequences of Greg Maxwell childish and selfish actions. If bitcoin will not steadily activate segwit2x then it will be messy, and we will split into the most messy chain split ever. Who know if we won't get down to even 1000-1100 USD in such scenario. Those with big balls and money to gamble can take risk and long now. Network intention for segwit2x is 87%.
