RBS | Profitholders Thanks for source code author , I have modified this for especially Indian market.
RBS Indicator is Rang Breakout System, This is same "Opening Range Breakout" which is a common trading strategy. The indicator can analyze the market trend in the current session and give "Buy / Sell", "Take Profit" and "Stop Loss" signals. For more information about the analyzing process of the indicator, you can read "How Does It Work ?" section of the description.
Features of RBS indicator :
Buy & Sell Signals
Up To 3 Take Profit Signals
Stop-Loss Signals
Alerts for Buy / Sell, Take-Profit and Stop-Loss
Session Dashboard
Back testing Dashboard
HOW DOES IT WORK ?
This indicator works best in 15-minute timeframe. Need to change Chart time frame depends on symbols , The idea is that the trend of the current session can be forecasted by analyzing the market for a while after the session starts. However, each market has it's own dynamics and the algorithm will need fine-tuning to get the best performance possible. So, we've implemented a "Back testing Dashboard" that shows the past performance of the algorithm in the current ticker with your current settings. Always keep in mind that past performance does not guarantee future results. So this is for educational purpose.
Here are the steps of the algorithm explained briefly :
1. The algorithm follows and analyzes the first 15 minutes (can be adjusted) of the session.
2. Then, algorithm checks for breakouts of the opening range's high or low.
3. If a breakout happens in a bullish or a bearish direction, the algorithm will now check for retests of the breakout. Depending on the sensitivity setting, there must be 0 / 1 / 2 / 3 failed retests for the breakout to be considered as reliable.
4. If the breakout is reliable, the algorithm will give an entry signal.
5. After the position entry, algorithm will now wait for Take-Profit or Stop-Loss zones and signal if any of them occur.
If you wonder how does the indicator find Take-Profit & Stop-Loss zones, you can check the "Settings" section of the description.
UNIQUENESS
While there are indicators that show the opening range of the session, they come short with features like indicating breakouts, entries, and Take-Profit & Stop-Loss zones. We are also aware of that different stock markets have different dynamics, and tuning the algorithm for different markets is really important for better results, so we decided to make the algorithm fully customizable. Besides all that, our indicator contains a detailed back testing dashboard, so you can see past performance of the algorithm in the current ticker. While past performance does not yield any guarantee for future results, we believe that a back testing dashboard is necessary for tuning the algorithm. Another strength of this indicator is that there are multiple options for detection of Take-Profit and Stop-Loss zones, which the trader can select one of their liking.
⚙️SETTINGS
Keep in mind that best chart timeframe for this indicator to work is the 15-minute timeframe on Indian Market.
TP = Take-Profit
SL = Stop-Loss
EMA = Exponential Moving Average
OR = Opening Range
ATR = Average True Range
1. Algorithm
RBS Timeframe -> This setting determines the timeframe that the algorithm will analyze the market after a new session begins before giving any signals. It's important to experiment with this setting and find the best option that suits the current ticker for the best performance. More volatile stocks will often require this setting to be larger, while more stabilized stocks may have this setting shorter.
Sensitivity -> This setting determines how much failed retests are needed to take a position entry. Higher sensitivity means that less retests are needed to consider the breakout as reliable. If you think that the current ticker makes strong movements in a bullish & bearish direction after a breakout, you should set this setting higher. If you think the opposite, meaning that the ticker does not decide the trend right after a breakout, this setting show be lower.
(High = 0 Retests, Medium = 1 Retest, Low = 2 Retests, Lowest = 3 Retests)
Breakout Condition -> The condition for the algorithm to detect breakouts.
Close = Bar needs to close higher than the OR High Line in a bullish breakout, or lower than the OR Low Line in a bearish breakout. EMA = The EMA of the bar must be higher / lower than OR Lines instead of the close price.
TP Method -> The method for the algorithm to use when determining TP zones.
Dynamic = This TP method essentially tries to find the bar that price starts declining the current trend and going to the other direction, and puts a TP zone there. To achieve this, it uses an EMA line, and when the close price of a bar crosses the EMA line, It's a TP spot.
ATR = In this TP method, instead of a dynamic approach the TP zones are pre-determined using the ATR of the entry bar. This option is generally for traders who just want to know their TP spots beforehand while trading. Selecting this option will also show TP zones at the ORB Dashboard.
"Dynamic" option generally performs better, while the "ATR" method is safer to use.
EMA Length -> This setting determines the length of the EMA line used in "Dynamic TP method" and "EMA Breakout Condition". This is completely up to the trader's choice, though the default option should generally perform well. You might want to experiment with this setting and find the optimal length for the current ticker.
Stop-Loss -> Algorithm will place the Stop-Loss zone using setting.
Safer = The SL zone will be placed closer to the OR High for a bullish entry, and closer to the OR Low for a bearish entry.
Balanced = The SL zone will be placed in the center of OR High & OR Low
Risky = The SL zone will be placed closer to the OR Low for a bullish entry, and closer to the OR High for a bearish entry.
Adaptive SL -> This option only takes effect if the first TP zone is hit.
Enabled = After the 1st TP zone is hit, the SL zone will be moved to the entry price, essentially making the position risk-free.
Disabled = The SL zone will never change.
2. RBS Dashboard
RBS Dashboard shows the information about the current session.
3. RBS Back testing
RBS Back testing Dashboard allows you to see past performance of the algorithm in the current ticker with current settings.
Total amount of days that can be back tested depends on your TV subscription.
Back testing Exit Ratios -> You can select how much of percent your entry will be closed at any TP zone while back testing. For example, %90, %5, %5 means that %90 of the position will be closed at the first TP zone, %5 of it will be closed at the 2nd TP zone, and %5 of it will be closed at the last TP zone.
Profitable Parabolic SARIntroduction
As you know, Parabolic Stop and Reverse (SAR, PSAR) was originally developed by J. Welles Wilder and was described in his book "New Concepts in Technical Trading Systems" (1978). It derives its name from the fact that when charted, the pattern formed by the points resembles a parabola.
Mr. Wilder described it as "one of my favorite systems because it squeezes more profit out of an intermediate move than any method I know" .
Interpretation
PSAR follows price and can be considered a trend following indicator. Once a downtrend reverses and starts up, PSAR follows prices like a trailing stop. Same is true for the opposite direction.
Due to its nature, PSAR continuosly protects on long and short positions.
Parameters
One of the key components of PSAR is the Acceleration Factor (AF). The AF is one of a progression of numbers beginning at 0.02 and ending at 0.2 . The AF is increased by the increment of 0.02 each time that a new high is made until a value of 0.2 is reached.
Mr. Wilder used the next parameters
Start: 0.02
Increment: 0.02
Maximum: 0.2
and they are default for the built-in PSAR indicator and its strategy.
But are these params really profitable? Mr. Wilder noticed that "I have tried many different acceleration factors on this system and have found that a consistent increase of 0.02 works best overall...the range for the incremental increase is between 0.018 and 0.021 " .
That was then, in 1978. Other times have come. Is our grandpa still right in his recommendations?
I made this tool to figure it out.
What is this tool?
This tool is a performance scanner that uses a decision tree-based algorithm under the hood to find the most profitable settings for PSAR. It analyzes a bunch of different Start (between 0.001 to 0.02 ) and Increment (between 0.001 to 0.03 ) parameters and backtests each combination across the entire history of an instrument. If the more profitable parameters were found, the indicator will switch its values to the found ones immediately.
Instead of manually selecting parameters, just relax - the algorithm will do it for you.
It doesn't touch the last parameter, Maximum , for two reasons.
First, as Mr. Wilder noticed in his book, "...the number of increases it takes to reach at least 0.2 , but do not exceed 0.22 " . That is, the parameter sits in a very narrow range.
Second, I tested different maximums and I came to the conclusion that this parameter has a minimal impact on net profit, compared with the more significant parameters of start and increment.
Alerts
It has an alert that notifies when the more profitable settings were detected.

Profit Percentage TrackerThis script provides a quick and easy way to visualize profits in a chart, based on the given entry date and price.
Optionally, alerts can be sent when profits cross up the given " profit unit ".
In short:
Tracks how much profit one could take based on the input " entry date " and the input " entry price "
These inputs are interactive (www.tradingview.com)
Displays the result in a label on top of the last candle
(Optional) Sends alerts based on the given " profit unit ", that is: if ' 0.5 ' is given, then an alert is triggered every time the profit is raised by that number
(Be careful with low values, as TradingView could stop an alert if it triggers too much.)
For alerts to be displayed, a " script alert " must be created right after the script was added to the chart:
(Choose ' Profits ' as condition and ' Any alert() function call ')
Good to know: if you check " Notify on app ", alerts can be delivered directly to your phone:
i.imgur.com
Prerequirements :
The chart's timezone has to be set to " Exchange " (this is required in order to support the alert's logic):

Profitable Vortex Indicator ScannerIntroduction
The Vortex Indicator is a technical indicator invented by Etienne Botes and Douglas Siepman (Technical Analysis of Stocks & Commodities, V.28:1 (January, 2010): "The Vortex Indicator") to identify the start of a new trend or the continuation of an existing trend within financial markets.
It is composed of two lines, +VI and -VI . +VI represents up trending momentum and -VI represents down trending momentum.
The most basic strategy is to use the crossovers as trade signals:
when +VI crosses above -VI , go Long
when -VI crosses above +VI , go Short
Exit when a crossover occurs in the opposite direction
What is this tool?
This tool is a performance scanner that uses a decision tree-based algorithm under the hood to find the most profitable period's setting for the indicator. It analyzes the range of periods between 2 to 100 and backtests the Vortex Indicator for each period using the strategy mentioned above across the entire history of an instrument.
Settings
Net Profit line is optional and can be hidden through settings.
Alerts
It has an alert that notifies when a more profitable period was detected.
NOTE : It does not change what has already been plotted.
Good luck!
Profitable MAMA & FAMA CrossoverIntroduction
The MESA Adaptive Moving Average (MAMA) was originally presented by John F. Ehlers. By design, it is a special kind of Exponential Moving Average with self-adjusting alpha. Its adaptation is based on the rate change of phase as measured by the Homodyne Discriminator and the alpha parameter is allowed to range between a maximum and minimum value (Fast Limit and Slow Limit).
Key Point: Ehlers suggested the maximum value to be 0.5 and the minimum to be 0.05 .
The variable alpha is computed as the Fast Limit divided by the phase rate of change. If the phase rate of change is large, the variable alpha is bounded at the SlowLimit. Then, this alpha is used to compute MAMA and FAMA (Following Adaptive Moving Average).
Should we rely on Ehlers' suggestions if we want to achieve the best result with MAMA & FAMA crossover system?
Well, he is a good specialist and widely recognized author, I respect him, but the answer is no and you can see results on the chart.
What is our goal?
We want to find the best configuration for MAMA & FAMA Crossover. To achieve that we need to analyze the MAMA's alpha parameter or, more specific, the bounds for this parameter, Fast and Slow Limits.
What is this tool?
This tool is a performance optimizer that uses decision tree-based algorithm under the hood to find the most profitable settings for the MAMA & FAMA Crossover. It analyzes a bunch of different Fast Limits (between 0.01 to 0.8 with step of 0.1 ) and Slow Limits (between 0.01 to 0.6 with step of 0.1 ) and backtests each combination across the entire history of an instrument. If the more profitable parameters were found, the indicator will switch its values to the found ones immediately.
So, instead of manually selecting and testing parameters just apply this indicator to your chart and
relax - the algorithm will find the best parameters for you
Alerts
It has a special alert that notifies when the more profitable settings were detected.
NOTE: It does not change what has already been plotted.
NOTE 2: This is not a strategy, but an algorithmic optimizer.

Profitable RSI (Relative Strength Index)Introduction
As you know the Relative Strength Index (RSI) was originally developed by J. Welles Wilder and was described in his book "New Concepts in Technical Trading Systems" (1978). It is intended to measure the strength or weakness of an instrument for the specified period.
The most basic strategy is to use the crossovers as trade signals:
when RSI crosses above 30, go Long
when RSI crosses below 70, go Short
Exit when a crossover occurs in the opposite direction
What is this tool?
This tool is a performance scanner that uses a decision tree-based algorithm under the hood to find the most profitable settings for RSI. It analyzes the range of periods between 2 to 100 and backtests the RSI for each period using the strategy mentioned above across the entire history of an instrument. If the more profitable parameter was found, the indicator will switch its value to the found one immediately.
So, instead of manually selecting parameters just apply it to your chart and relax - the algorithm will do it for you.
The algorithm can work in two modes: Basic and Advanced "Early Switch" . The Early Switch algorithm makes some assumptions and activates a set of optimizations to find the better setting DURING the trades, not after they were closed.
The difference is illustrated on the screenshot below:
Additionally you can set up a backtest window through indicator's settings (the optimizers which were published before will get this feature soon).
Alerts
It has a special alert that notifies when a more profitable period was detected.
NOTE: It does not change what has already been plotted.
NOTE 2: This is not a strategy, but an algorithmic optimizer.
Day after day. Night after night.
I've been waiting to program again.
Day after day. Night by to night.
Trading is waiting inside your heart.
Profitable SuperTrendIntroduction
I was faced with the fact that many authors contradicted each other about the indicator settings. Each trader offers his(her) own settings, without having an evidence base. Therefore, I decided to make an algorithmic optimizer.
What is this tool?
This tool is a performance optimizer that uses a decision tree-based algorithm under the hood to find the most profitable settings for the SuperTrend indicator. It analyzes a bunch of different ATR Periods (between 3 to 45 ) and ATR Multipliers (between 1 to 8 with a decimal step of 0.1 ) and backtests each combination across the entire history of an instrument. If the more profitable parameters were found, the indicator will switch its values to the found ones immediately.
Instead of manually selecting parameters, just relax - the algorithm will do it for you.
Alerts
It has an alert that notifies when the more profitable settings were found.
NOTE: It does not change what has already been plotted before.
NOTE 2: The implementation of the SuperTrend indicator I used can be found here
Profitable SMA CrossoverWhat is this tool?
This tool is a performance scanner of the crossover trading system that is based on the two simple moving averages (SMA). It uses a decision tree-based algorithm under the hood to find and plot the most profitable periods of the SMA combination.
It analyzes the range of periods between 4 to 45 and backtests each combination across the entire history of an instrument. If the more profitable periods were detected the indicator will switch periods of the moving averages immediately.
This is an add-on for the Ingenious SMA Crossover but can be used standalone.
Alerts
It has an alert that notifies when the more profitable periods were detected.
NOTE : It does not change what has already been plotted.

Net Unrealized Profit Loss | JeffreyTimmermansNet Unrealized Profit Loss (NUPL)
The "Net Unrealized Profit Loss" (NUPL) indicator is a highly regarded tool for assessing Bitcoin investor sentiment by analyzing the relationship between Market Value and Realized Value. This Pine Script implementation, developed by Jeffrey Timmermans, includes additional features such as dynamic labels, alerts, and thresholds with color-coded bands, enhancing its usability for traders and analysts.
Core Concepts Behind NUPL
Market Value (MV):
Defined as the current Bitcoin price multiplied by the number of coins in circulation.
Equivalent to market capitalization in traditional finance.
Realized Value (RV):
Calculated by considering the price at which each Bitcoin last moved (e.g., transferred between wallets).
The average price of all these transactions is multiplied by the total coins in circulation.
Net Unrealized Profit Loss (NUPL):
Formula: NUPL = (Market Value − Realized Value) : Market Value × 100
Measures the proportion of paper profits or losses held by investors relative to the market cap.
Significance of NUPL:
Tracks investor sentiment over time.
A high NUPL value indicates that most investors are in profit, often signaling potential market overheating.
A low or negative NUPL suggests pessimism and undervaluation, which may precede market recovery.
How to View the Chart
The NUPL chart uses distinct percentage bands to delineate various market phases. These bands provide context for understanding investor sentiment and market stages:
Extreme Low Values (< 0%): Indicates widespread losses; the market may be near capitulation.
Neutral Value (0%): A balance between profit and loss; often signifies a transition phase.
Slightly High to High Values (> 0% to 50%): Increasing profits suggest growing optimism; early stages of bullish trends.
Extreme High Values (> 75%): Signals overheating; often corresponds to excessive greed, which may precede corrections.
The colored bands visually represent these stages, enabling traders to identify key turning points.
Features of the Script
Querying Data
The indicator uses data from two key sources:
Bitcoin Market Cap (MC1): GLASSNODE:BTC_MARKETCAP
Bitcoin Realized Cap (MCR): COINMETRICS:BTC_MARKETCAPREAL
These values are fetched using the request.security function to ensure daily accuracy, regardless of the chart's timeframe.
Threshold Calculation
The script computes NUPL values dynamically and compares them against historical lows:
Calculated using the ta.lowest function over a 1,000-bar lookback period.
The average of the historical low and the current NUPL value, providing a dynamic baseline.
Value Classification
NUPL is categorized into sentiment levels with corresponding weights:
< Low Threshold: 1 (Extreme Bearish)
Low to 0: 0.75 (Moderate Bearish)
0 to 25: 0.25 (Neutral to Slightly Bullish)
25 to 50: -0.25 (Moderate Bullish)
50 to 75 : -0.75 (Strong Bullish)
> 75: -1 (Extreme Bullish)
Visual Elements
NUPL Line Plot:
The NUPL line is plotted in orange for clear visibility.
Threshold Bands:
Horizontal thresholds ranging from -160 to 160 and are plotted, representing key sentiment levels. Bands are categorized as:
Extreme High/Low Values
Significant High/Low Values
Neutral Values
Fill Colors:
Red Shades (Bearish Sentiment): Above neutral levels.
Green Shades (Bullish Sentiment): Below neutral levels.
The opacity of fills decreases as sentiment moves from extreme to neutral values.
Dynamic Label:
A real-time label displays the current NUPL value and sentiment classification.
Positioned directly on the NUPL line for immediate insight.
Alerts:
The indicator includes two alerts for crossing key thresholds:
NUPL Above 0% Alert: Triggers when NUPL crosses above the neutral value, signaling a shift to positive sentiment.
NUPL Below 0% Alert: Triggers when NUPL crosses below the neutral value, indicating a shift to negative sentiment.
Alerts are configured with alert.freq_once_per_bar to avoid redundancy during intra-bar fluctuations.
Use Cases
Identifying Market Extremes:
Use NUPL levels to pinpoint moments of extreme greed or fear, which often precede market reversals.
Long-Term Strategy:
NUPL trends can assist strategic investors in deciding when to accumulate during pessimistic phases or take profits during euphoria.
Market Sentiment Analysis:
Provides a macro perspective on the prevailing investor sentiment, offering valuable context for trading decisions.
Conclusion
The Net Unrealized Profit Loss (NUPL) indicator combines advanced data processing with intuitive visualization to deliver actionable insights into Bitcoin market sentiment. With its real-time alerts, dynamic labels, and comprehensive banding system, this tool is indispensable for traders and investors seeking to understand and anticipate market movements based on sentiment analysis.

Moving Averages (Self-Adjusting Param for Highest Profitability)Moving Averages (Self-Adjusting Parameters for Highest Profitability)
It is a dual moving average crossover system - Smart Moving Averages .
Moving averages are used to identify current price developments and the potential for a change in an established trend.
The crossover in a dual moving average system can be used as a trigger to buy or to sell an asset, or as a trend reversal indication.
The crossover occurrence depends on the periods for which the moving averages are calculated. Using constant period values may not bring the best results.
The Smart Moving Averages change their periods automatically to get the highest profitability .
The concept is similar to the Smart SuperTrend .
Features:
• Self-Adjusting Period parameters
• The graphs for Profitability, Moving Average 1 Period, Moving Average 2 Period and the Moving Averages themselves are available to choose for display from the indicator settings
• A chart layout can be made just for the Smart Moving Averages, having all the graphs nicely displayed
• Alerts for changes in Trend, Moving Average 1 Period, Moving Average 2 Period, Profitability
• Different types of Moving Averages are available to choose from in the indicator settings (SMA, EMA, RMA, WMA, VWMA, DEMA, TEMA, HullMA, TMA).
The range for Moving Average 1 Period, Moving Average 2 Period and Time can be changed in the indicator settings (suggested optimal values are displayed on the chart).
This affects the loading speed (smaller range, faster to load), as well as the accuracy of the signals.
The indicator switches to the most profitable Moving Average 1 Period and Moving Average 2 Period parameters automatically, in real-time.
It scans across the entire historical data made available by TradingView.
The Smart Moving Average system works on all timeframes and symbols available on TradingView.
Exception for when the Volume Weighted Moving Average is used - it doesn't work for symbols without volume data.
It does not repaint!
But several aspects must be considered:
- 1. TradingView periodically removes access to old data while giving access to new data in real-time.
____ The frequency depends on the timeframe, amount of data. It can happen daily for second charts, weekly for minute charts.
____ Since the Indicator wouldn't have access to that old data anymore, the Profitability may change its value, causing a certain degree of repainting.
- 2. The starting time for Backtest must be inserted in the settings panel.
____ As long as the starting time has available price data, the Smart Moving Averages will NOT get repainted.
____ A suggested starting date for the analysis is shown on the chart. Insert the date in the indicator settings.
This indicator is compatible with the Wrapper Module of the Risk Management System indicator, which means they can work together as a trading bot.

STH Unrealized Profit/Loss Ratio (STH-NUPL) | [DeV]STH-NUPL
The Short-Term Holder Net Unrealized Profit/Loss Ratio (STH-NUPL) is an analytical tool designed to approximate the unrealized profit or loss of Bitcoin’s short-term holders (STHs)—typically those holding coins for less than 155 days—within the constraints of TradingView’s price-based environment. Drawing inspiration from the canonical STH-NUPL metric, which assesses the difference between the market value and realized value of STH-held coins, this indicator adapts the concept into a normalized ratio using Bitcoin’s price data as a proxy. It offers a window into the sentiment and behavior of short-term market participants, who are often more sensitive to price fluctuations than long-term holders.
In its raw form, STH-NUPL oscillates around a break-even threshold of 0, where positive values indicate aggregate unrealized profits for STHs (market value exceeds realized value), and negative values suggest losses. This inflection point frequently acts as a key level: in bear markets, it can signal capitulation as STHs sell at break-even or below, while in bull markets, it may reflect reluctance to realize losses, providing support. The indicator enhances this metric with smoothing, a moving average overlay, and sophisticated visualization options, delivering a statistically informed perspective on short-term holder dynamics tailored for institutional-grade analysis.
STH-NUPL Settings -
Lookback Length (Default: 150 days): Defines the SMA period for estimating realized value. This 150-day window aligns with traditional STH definitions (e.g., <155 days), capturing a broad yet relevant historical cost basis for short-term holders, ideal for assessing cyclical behavior.
Smoothing Period (Default: 5 days): Applies an EMA to the raw STH-NUPL ratio, with a short default period to maintain responsiveness to recent price shifts while filtering out daily volatility. This setting is particularly suited for tactical analysis.
Moving Average Settings -
MA Lookback Length (Default: 90 days): Sets the period for the STH-NUPL’s moving average, offering a medium-term trend signal that contrasts with the 150-day lookback, enabling detection of momentum shifts within broader market phases.
MA Type (Default: EMA): Provides six moving average types, from the straightforward SMA to the volume-sensitive VWMA. The default EMA balances smoothness and reactivity, while options like HMA or VWMA cater to specialized needs, such as emphasizing recent action or volume trends.
Display Settings -
Show Moving Average (Default: True): Toggles the visibility of the STH-NUPL MA plot, allowing users to focus solely on the smoothed ratio when desired.
Show Background Colors (Default: True): Activates dynamic background shading to visually reinforce market regimes.
Background Color Source (Default: STH-NUPL): Enables users to tie the background to either the STH-NUPL’s midline (reflecting sthNupl > 0) or the MA’s trend direction (maNupl > maNupl ), aligning the visual context with the chosen analytical focus.
Analytical Applications -
Bear Market Capitulation: When the smoothed STH-NUPL approaches or falls below zero, it often signals loss realization among STHs, a precursor to capitulation in downtrends. A declining MA crossing zero can confirm this selling pressure.
Bull Market Support: Positive STH-NUPL values with a rising MA indicate STHs are in profit and reluctant to sell at a loss, forming support zones in uptrends as sell pressure wanes.
Sentiment Extremes: Significant deviations above or below zero highlight over-optimism or despair among STHs, offering contrarian opportunities when paired with price action or other on-chain metrics.
**Limitations**
As a TradingView-based approximation, this indicator uses price data (close) rather than true on-chain STH supply and realized price, which are available through providers like Glassnode. The 150-day SMA for realized value simplifies the cost basis, potentially underrepresenting the diversity of STH transactions. Despite this, the smoothed ratio and moving average overlay provide a practical proxy for tracking STH sentiment within TradingView’s ecosystem.
