Machine Learning: MFI Heat Map [YinYangAlgorithms]Overview: 
MFI Heat Maps are a visually appealing way to display the values of 29 different MFIs at the same time while being able to make sense of it. Each plot within the Indicator represents a different MFI value. The higher you get up, the longer the length that was used for this MFI. This Indicator also features the use of Machine Learning to help balance the MFI levels. It doesn’t solely rely upon Machine Learning but instead incorporates a growing length MFI averaged with the Machine Learning MFI at any given index.
For instance, say we are calculating the 10th plot from the bottom, the MFI would be an average of:
 
 MFI(source, 11)
 Machine Learning MFI at Index of 10
 
We do it this way as they both help smooth each other out without relying solely on just one calculation method.
Due to plot limitations, you are capped at 28 Plot Amounts within this indicator, but that is still quite a bit of information you can glean from a Heat Map.
The Machine Learning used in this indicator is of the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN). It uses a Fast and Slow MFI calculation then sorts through them over Machine Learning Length and calculates the differences between them. It then slices off KNN length to create our Max/Min Distances allotted. It adds the average between Fast and Slow MFIs to a Viable Distances array if their distances are within the KNN Min/Max distance. It then averages all distances in the Viable Distances array and returns the result.
The result of the KNN Function is saved to another ML Data array whose length is that of Plot Amount (Heat Map Size). This way each Index of the ML Data array can be indexed according to the Heat Map Size.
The Average of the ML Data array is the MFI line (white) that you’ll see plotted on the Indicator. There is also the SMA of the MFI Average (orange) which is likewise plotted. These plots allow you to visualize where the ML MFI is sitting and can potentially be useful for seeing when the MFI Average and SMA cross over and under each other.
We’ve heard many people talk highly of RSI, but sadly not too many even refer to MFI. MFI oftentimes may be overlooked, especially with new traders who may not even know what it is. Essentially MFI is an RSI but it also incorporates Volume into its calculations, which in our opinion leads to a more accurate reading; afterall, what is price movement without Volume.
 Tutorial: 
You may be thinking, this Indicator looks appealing to the eye, but how do I benefit from it trading wise?
Before we get into our visual examples, let's talk briefly about what makes Heat Maps in general a useful tool for trading. Heat Maps give us the ability to visualize and understand lots of data while removing the clutter. We can understand the data of 29 different MFIs without having to look at and decipher 29 different MFI plots. When you overlay too many MFI lines on top of each other, they can be very difficult to read and oftentimes end up actually hindering your Technical Analysis. For this reason, we have a simple solution to this problem; Heat Maps. This MFI Heat Map allows you to easily know (in a relative %) what the MFI level is for varying lengths. For Instance, the First (bottom) plot indexes an MFI of (K(0) (loop of Plot Amount) + Smoothing Length (default 1)) = 1. Since this is indexing (usually) a very low length, it will change much quicker. Whereas the Last (top) plot indexes an MFI of (K(27) (loop of Plot Amount) + Smoothing Length (default 1)) = 28. This is indexing a much higher length of MFI which results in the MFI the higher you go up in the Heat Map to move much slower.
Heat Maps give us the ability to see changes happening over multiple MFIs at the same time, which can be very useful for seeing shifts in MFI / Momentum. Remember, MFI incorporates Volume, so even if the price goes up a lot, if there was low volume, the MFI won’t move as much as an RSI would. However, likewise, if there is high volume but low price movement, the MFI will move slightly more than the RSI.
Heat Maps change color based on their MFI level. If the MFI is >= 90 it is HOT (red), if the MFI <= 9 it is COLD (teal, think of ICE). Green represents an MFI of 50-59 and Dark Blue represents an MFI of 40-49. Green and Dark blue are the most common colors as all the others are more ‘Extreme’ MFI levels.
Okay, time to get to the  Examples :
  
Since there is so much going on in Heat Maps, we’ve decided to focus this tutorial to this specific area and talk about individual locations before talking about it as a whole.
If you refer to the example above where there are 2 white circles; these white circles are highlighting a key location you’ll be wanting to identify within your Heat Maps, many things are happening here:
 
 The MFI crossed over the SMA (bullish).
 The Heat Map started changing from mid/dark Blue (30-50 MFI) to Green (50-59 MFI) around the midline (the 50% dashed like).
 The Lower levels of the Heat Map are turning Yellow/Orange/Red (60-100 MFI).
 The Upper Levels of the Heat Map are still Light Blue - Green  (10-50 MFI).
 
The 4 Key points above, all point towards potential Bullish Momentum changes. You’re likely wondering, but why? Let's discuss about each one in more specific detail:
1. The MFI crossed over the SMA (bullish): What this tells us is that the current MFI Average is now greater than its average over the last (default) 16 bars. This means there's been a large amount of Money Flow (Price and Volume) recently (subjectively based on the last (default) 16 average). This is one of the leading Bullish / Bearish signals you will see within this Indicator. You can enable Signals within the Settings and/or even add Alerts for when these crossings occur.
2. The Heat Map started changing from mid/dark Blue (30-50 MFI) to Green (50-59 MFI) around the midline (the 50% dashed like): This shows us that the index’s in the mid (if using all 28 heat map plots it would be at 14) has already received some of this momentum change. If you look at the second white circle (right), you’ll also notice the higher MFI plot indexes are also green. This is because since their length is long they still have some momentum and strength from the first white circle (left). Just because the first white circle failed in its bullish push, doesn’t mean it didn’t achieve momentum that would later on help to push the price up.
3. The Lower levels of the Heat Map are turning Yellow/Orange/Red (60-100 MFI): It occurred somewhat in the left white circle, but mainly in the right white circle. This shows us the MFI is very high on the lower lengths, this may lead to the current, middle and higher length MFIs following suit soon. Remember it has to work its way up, the higher levels can’t go red unless the lower levels go red first and the higher levels can also lag quite a bit behind and take awhile to catch up, this is normal, expected and meant to happen. Vice versa is also true with getting higher levels to go cold (light teal (think of ICE)).
4. The Upper Levels of the Heat Map are still Light Blue - Green  (10-50 MFI): You might think at first that this is a bad thing, but it's not! Remember you want to be Fearful when others are Greedy and Greedy when others are Fearful! You don’t want to buy when the higher levels have a high MFI, you want to buy when you see the momentum pushing up in the lower MFI levels (getting yellow/orange/red in the low levels) while it is still Cold in the higher levels (BLUE OR GREEN, nothing higher than green as it is already slightly too high). There will be many times that it is Yellow or possibly Orange in the high levels and the bullish push still happens, but this is much more risky! The key to trading is to minimize risks while maximizing potential.
Hopefully now you’re getting an idea of how to spot potential bullish momentum changes, but what about bearish momentum changes? Technically they are the exact opposite, so we don’t need to go into as much detail, but lets still take a look at a few examples:
  
In the example above we marked the 3 times where it was displaying overly bullish characteristics. We marked the bullish momentum occurring with arrows. If you look closely at the start of the arrow to where it finishes, you’ll notice how the heat (HOT)(RED) works its way up from the lower levels to the higher levels. We then see the MFI to SMA cross under. In all 3 of these examples the heat made it all the way to the top of the chart. These are all very bearish signals that represent a bearish momentum movement that may occur soon.
Also, please note, the level the MFI is at DOES matter! That line isn’t there simply for you to see when there are crosses over and under. The MFI is considered to be Overbought when it is greater than 70 (the upper white dashed line, it is just formatted to be on a different scale cause there are 28 plots, but it represents 70). The MFI is considered to be Oversold when it is less than 30 (the lower white dashed line).
  
If we look to the left a little here where a big drop in price occurred shortly after our MFI and SMA crossed, would we have been able to identify it using the Heat Maps? Likely, No. There was some color change in the lower levels a few bars prior that went yellow/orange/red but before this cross happened they all went back to Dark Blue. In the middle section when the cross happened it was only Green and Yellow and in the upper section we are Blue. This would be a very risky trade to go on as the only real Bearish Indication was the MFI to SMA cross under. Remember, you want to reduce risk, you don’t want to simply trade on everytime the MFI and SMA cross each other or you’ll be getting yourself into many risky trades based on false signals.
  
Based on what you’ve learned above, can you see the signs that are indicating where this white circle may have potential for a bullish momentum change?
Now that we are more zoomed in, you may also be noticing there are colors to the price bars. This can be disabled in the settings, but just so you know what they mean, let’s zoom in a little more and talk about it.
  
We’ve condensed the Indicator a bit so you can see the bars better here. The colors that are displayed on these bars are the Heat Map value for your MFI (the white line in the Indicator). This way you can better see when the Price is Hot and Cold. As you may see while looking, the colors generally go from cold to hot when bullish momentum is happening and hot to cold when bearish momentum is happening. We don’t recommend solely looking at the bars as indicators to MFI momentum change, as seeing the Heat Map will give you much more data; however it can be nice to see the Heat Map projected on the bars rather than trying to eyeball it yourself or hover over each bar specifically to see their levels.
We will conclude our Tutorial here. Hopefully this has given you some insight to how useful Heat Maps can be and why it works well with a Machine Learning (KNN) Model applied to the MFI.
 PLEASE NOTE:  You can adjust the line width for the Heat Map within the settings. If you condense the Indicator a lot or have a small screen, likely use a length of 1-2. If you have it stretched out or a large screen, a length of 2-3 will work nice. You just don’t want to have the lines overlapping or it defeats the purpose of a Heat Map. Also, the bigger the linewidth, generally you’ll want to increase the Transparency within the Settings also as it can get quite bright and hurt your eyes over time.

 Show MFI and SMA Crossing Signals: MFI and SMA Crossing is one of the leading Bullish and Bearish Signals in this Indicator. You can also add alerts for these signals.
 Plot Amount: How many plots are used in this Heat Map. (2 - 28).
 Source: The Source to use in all MFI calculations.
 Smooth Initial MFI Length: How much to smooth the Fast and Slow MFI calculation by. 1 = No smoothing.
 MFI SMA Length: What length we smooth the MFI Average over to get our MFI SMA.
 
Machine Learning:
 
 Average MFI data by adding a lookback to the Source: While populating our Heat Map with the MFI's, should use use the Source each MFI Length increase or should we also lookback a Source each MFI Length Increase.
 KNN Distance Requirement: To be a valid KNN, it needs to abide by a Distance calculation. Generally only Max is used, but you can change it if it suits your trading style better.
 Machine Learning Length: How much ML data should we store? The longer the length generally the smoother the result; which may not be as accurate for something like a Heat Map, so keeping this relatively low may lead to more accurate results.
 KNN Length: How many KNN are used in the slice to calculate max/min distance allowed.
 Fast Length: Fast MFI length used in KNN to calculate distances by comparing its distance with the Slow MFI Length.
 Slow Length: Slow MFI length used in KNN to calculate distances by comparing its distance with the Fast MFI Length.
 Smoothing Length: When populating our Heat Map, at what length do we start our MFI calculations with (A Higher value with result in a slower and more smoothed MFI / Heat Map).
 
Colors:
 
 Change Bar Color: Change bar colors to MFI Avg Color.
 Heat Map Transparency: If there isn't any transparency it can be a little hard on the eyes. The Greater the Line Width, generally the more transparency you'll want for your eyes.
 Line Width: Set how wide the Heat Map lines are
 MFI 90-100 Color: Color when the MFI is between these levels.
 MFI 80-89 Color: Color when the MFI is between these levels.
 MFI 70-79 Color: Color when the MFI is between these levels.
 MFI 60-69 Color: Color when the MFI is between these levels.
 MFI 50-59 Color: Color when the MFI is between these levels.
 MFI 40-49 Color: Color when the MFI is between these levels.
 MFI 30-39 Color: Color when the MFI is between these levels.
 MFI 20-29 Color: Color when the MFI is between these levels.
 MFI 10-19 Color: Color when the MFI is between these levels.

Initial Balance Panel Strategy for BitcoinInitial Balance Strategy 
Initial Balance Strategy uses a source code of "Initial Balance Monitoring Panel" that build from "Initial Balance Markets Time Zones - Overall Highest and Lowest".
Initial Balance is based on the highest and lowest price action within the first 60 minutes of trading. Reading online this can depict which way the market can trend for the session. More information about Initial Balance Panel you can read at the end of the article.
 Strategy idea 
The main idea is to catch the trend move when most of the 16 Crypto pairs break the Low or High levels together. I found good results when 15 of 16 pairs is break that levels and after we manage the trade within some trail stop indicator, I choose Volatility Stop for this strategy.
 Additional Strategy idea 
The second one idea that was not made is to catch the pullback after fully green/red zones in Initial Balance Panel become white. That mean the main trend can be finished and we can try to catch good pullback in opposite direction. 
 Binance Crypto pairs 
The strategy use the 16 default Crypto currencies pairs from the Binance. As additional variations of the strategy can be changing the currencies pairs and their number.

The strategy works very well for a buy trades with settings 15 crypto pairs of 16 that follow the trend with breaking the long initial balance level.

Ichimoku Kinko HyoThis indicator is adding to the original indicator Ichimoku Cloud some visual informations.
Be aware of settings that are by default 10, 30, 60, while in the original indicator, default settings are 9, 26, 52. These are commonly consider like "crypto settings".
Tenkan = blue line
Kijun = orange line
SSB = red line
This indicator display three categories of signals that are given by the Ichimoku indicator:
     - tenkan / kijun crosses ;
     - breaks of mid prices for the different time horizon ;
     - bar coloring depending of the trend 
Let's review more in deep each of these elements.
 Tenkan / Kijun crosses 
When the tenkan crossover the kijun, this is called gold cross and it's display by a green triangle at the bottom of the chart.
When the tenkan crossunder the kijun, this is called death cross and it's display by a red triangle at the top of the chart.
I advise to not enter long or short only on this signal because it can be fake, especially during ranges.
To confirm the signal, we need to wait for a movement of the kijun in the same side of the cross. See first arrow on the chart.
 Breaks of mid prices 
Ichimoku is composed of three han-le lines that displays mid-price of the last candles depending on the settings (10, 30, 60).
Tenkan show us the mid-price of the last 10 candles (short term)
Kijun show us the mid-price of the last 30 candles (mid term)
SSB show us the mid-price of the last 60 candles (long term)
Break of tenkan by the price is the first signal that Ichimoku gives us before a reversal of the trend. This signal is display by a blue triangle.
Then, happened the break of kijun line follow by the break of the SSB. These are display respectively by an orange triangle and a red triangle.
Same advise, don't enter long or short only on break of these lines.
However, tenkan and kijun breaks can be used as exit point.
 Bar coloring 
The bar coloring display the strength of the trend:
     - green candle: strong bullish trend - this happen when the current price is above tenkan, kijun and SSB ;
     - blue candle: potential starting of a bullish trend - this happen when the current price is above tenkan and kijun but below the SSB ;
     - no colored candle: no trend, market is in a range - this happen when the current price is above tenkan and below kijun and SSB or when the current price is below tenkan and above kijun and SSB ;
     - orange candle: potential starting of a bearish trend - this happen when the current price is below tenkan and kijun but above SSB ;
     - red candle: strong bearish trend - this happen when the current price is below tenkan, kijun and SSB
 How to use to enter / exit trades 
First of all, we need confirmations to enter in the side of the trend. 
The first signal that the indicator gives us is the break of tenkan, follow by the break of kijun. Candles becomes blue / orange depending of the side.
Then, we wait for a cross of tenkan and kijun. This cross has to be confirmed by a movement of kijun. A flat kijun tell us this is a fake cross.
When the movement of kijun happened in the same side of the cross it is possible to enter a trade if you are aggresive.
Otherwise, you can wait for the third signal to take place: break of SSB, candle become green / red, depending on the side.
You can then enter a trade.
Then hold the position and wait to exit for break of tenkan or kijun, depending on your horizon (short / mid term).

It shows the 60 Day Cumulative Return of $BND Vanguard Total Bond Market ETF against the 60 Day Cumulative Return of $BIL SPDR Bloomberg Barclays 1-3 Month T-Bill ETF.
Why:
This Indicator will provide you a sense of where the economic environment is at, if the indicator shows that the 60 Day Cumulative return of $BND is ABOVE $BIL, it means that it's a good idea to go Risk ON in the stock market; On the other hand, if the inverse is true, it means that is a good idea to go Risk OFF in the stock market.

Multi HMA Lines by NB(ENG)
The Hull Moving Average (HMA) line responds quickly to volatile markets,
sometimes it provides more accurate information than the Exponancital Moving Average (EMA).
In particular, the 200 HMA line is easy to decide the overall trend of the market,
and it serves the basis entry position.
So I made indicator that provides these HMA lines into various periods so that they can be checked in one.
In addition, a custom TimeFrame HMA line function has been added so that you can check
not only the TimeFrame that meets your trading standards, but also the HMA of the other TimeFrame that you custome sets.
For example, if you want to see the 200 HMA of the 60-minute bar, you can select and set the different TimeFrame in the Multi TF section below.
For reference, 200 HMA at the 15-minute bar is the same value as 50 HMA at the 1-hour bar, so as shown in the following chart,
I use 4 HMA lines at the 15-minute bar : 20 HMA, 50 HMA, 200 HMA, and 200 HMA from 60-minute TimeFrame.

RexDog Hour Close LinesThe RexDog Hour Close Lines plots the last 4 previous hour (60 minute) closes. Extremely helpful indicator for traders who trade on lower timeframes below the 60.
The plotted lines are also offset to represent that hours close location on the chart-- but keep the below in mind.
The offset is set for a default resolution of 5 minutes. In that chart timeframe, the offset is correct as to the close location. Changing the timeframe to 3m for instance the offset is not accurate to that particular bar. I am sure there is a simple way to do this but maybe I'm just not smart enough to figure it out. Either way, the offset in any timeframe is easy to distinguish the oldest hour close to the newest.
This indicator has the following options:
 
 You can enable or disable any previous 4 hour close line
 You can change all line sizes
 You can change all line colors. I do apologize if it's inconvenient that I've defaulted the lines to different colors. 
 I've limited the visibility to only periods below 60 minutes-- but and maybe there is a better way to do this (if so please share). The limit is based on the most common periods below 60: 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 12, 15, and 30.
 
Will most likely release the 240 and 30-minute version of this I have on a few charts.

VPoC per barThis study prints the current bar VPoC as an horizontal line.
It's aimed originally at BTCUSDT pair and 15m timeframe.
 HOW IT WORKS 
Zoom In mode: This is the default mode.
The study zooms in into the latest 15 1-minute bar candles in order to calculate the 15 minute candle VPoC.
Zoom Out mode: The VPoC from the last n bars from the current timeframe that match desired timeframe is shown on each bar.
In either case you are recommended to click on the '...' button associated to this study
and select 'Visual Order. Bring to Front.' so that it's properly shown in your chart.
 HOW IT WORKS - Zoom In mode 
 
  Make sure that '(VP) Zoom into the VP timeframe' setting is set to true.
  Choose the zoomed in timeframe where to calculate VPoC from thanks to the '(VP) Zoomed timeframe {1 minute}' setting.
  Change '(VP) Zoomed in timeframe bars per current timeframe bar {15}' to its appropiated value. You just need to divide the current timeframe minutes per the zoomed in timeframe minutes per bar. E.g. If you are in 60 minute timeframe and you want to zoom in into 5 minute timeframe: 60 / 5 = 12 . You will write 12 here.
 
 HOW IT WORKS - Zoom Out mode 
 
  Make sure that '(VP) Zoom into the VP timeframe' setting is set to false.
  If you are using the Zoom out mode you might want to set '(VP) Print VPoC price as discrete lines {True}' to false.
  Either choose the zoommed out timeframe where to calculate VPoC from thanks to the '(VP) Zoomed timeframe {1 minute}' setting or turn on the '(VP) Use number of bars (not VP timeframe)' setting in order to use '(VP) Number of bars {100}' as a custom number of bars.

Traders Dynamic Index(RSI)  w/ Bull&Bear Control ZonesMomentum (RSI) is one of the most commonly used indicators for trading, but the vast majority of traders who use it, simply apply it as an oscillator to measure overbought and oversold conditions. However, momentum is much more complex than that and using a basic RSI fails to highlight these complexities. 
What this highlights are some of the areas/zones that many people may not even know about or are unaware what the RSI can actually reveal about a particular trend.

 How this identifies trends:

-Momentum will test resistance but will fail to hold support at 50

-Resistance: 80 - 90(Above)
-Momentum will test support but will not continue past the 45 support
  
 How this identifies reversals: 
If a market is bullish, but loses support at 45 and tests 30, it has begun reversal. If a market is bearish, but breaks 60 and tests 70, it has begun reversal.
-A bull market reversal is confirmed if it finds resistance at 60 after testing bearish support
-A bear market reversal is confirmed if it finds support at 50 after testing bullish resistance
  
 Slow & Fast RSI w/ Boll Bands: 
-The Slow and Fast RSI crossovers will act as Intermediate trends within the Macro trend - Fast crosses slow, bullish. Slow cross fast, bearish. 
-Use in confluence with the Macro trend.
-While under Bearish Control, the Slow RSI will act as resistance for the Fast RSI.
-While under Bullish Control, the Slow RSI will act as support for the Fast RSI. 
-The two will have an impulsive crossover when the Macro trend reverses.

Simple Harmonic Oscillator (SHO)The indicator is based on Akram El Sherbini's article "Time Cycle Oscillators" published in IFTA journal 2018 (pages 78-80) (www.ftaa.org.hk)
 The SHO is a bounded oscillator for the simple harmonic index that calculates the period of the market’s cycle. The oscillator is used for short and intermediate terms and moves within a range of -100 to 100 percent. The SHO has overbought and oversold levels at +40 and -40, respectively. At extreme periods, the oscillator may reach the levels of +60 and -60. The zero level demonstrates an equilibrium between the periods of bulls and bears. The SHO oscillates between +40 and -40. The crossover at those levels creates buy and sell signals. In an uptrend, the SHO fluctuates between 0 and +40 where the bulls are controlling the market. On the contrary, the SHO fluctuates between 0 and -40 during downtrends where the bears control the market. Reaching the extreme level -60 in an uptrend is a sign of weakness. Mostly, the oscillator will retrace from its centerline rather than the upper boundary +40. On the other hand, reaching +60 in a downtrend is a sign of strength and the oscillator will not be able to reach its lower boundary -40. 
 Centerline Crossover Tactic 
This tactic is tested during uptrends. The buy signals are generated when the WPO/SHI cross their centerlines to the upside. The sell signals are generated when the WPO/SHI cross down their centerlines. To define the uptrend in the system, stocks closing above their 50-day EMA are considered while the ADX is above 18.
 Uptrend Tactic 
During uptrends, the bulls control the markets, and the oscillators will move above their centerline with an increase in the period of cycles. The lower boundaries and equilibrium line crossovers generate buy signals, while crossing the upper boundaries will generate sell signals. The “Re-entry” and “Exit at weakness” tactics are combined with the uptrend tactic. Consequently, we will have three buy signals and two sell signals.
 Sideways Tactic 
During sideways, the oscillators fluctuate between their upper and lower boundaries. Crossing the lower boundary to the upside will generate a buy signal. On the other hand, crossing the upper boundary to the downside will generate a sell signal. When the bears take control, the oscillators will cross down the lower boundaries, triggering exit signals. Therefore, this tactic will consist of one buy signal and two sell signals. The sideway tactic is defined when stocks close above their 50-day EMA and the ADX is below 18

Volume Profile is suitable for day and swing trading on stock and futures markets, is a volume based indicator that gives you 6 key values for each session: POC, VAH, VAL, profile HIGH, LOW and MID levels. This project was born on the idea of plotting the RTH sessions Value Areas for /ES in an automated way, but you can select between 3 different sessions: RTH, GLOBEX and FULL sessions.
Some basic concepts:
- Volume Profile calculates the total volume for the session at each price level and give us market generated information about what price and range of prices are the most traded (where the value is)
- Value Area (VA): range of prices where 70% of the session volume is traded
- Value Area High (VAH): highest price within VA
- Value Area Low (VAL): lowest price within VA
- Point of Control (POC): the most traded price of the session (with the most volume)
- Session HIGH, LOW and MID levels are also important

- By default this indicator plots all the levels for the last RTH session within the last 12 hours, if there is no plot try to adjust the 12 hours periods until the seesion and the periods match

when you use this indicator change the setting of int1 and int 2 according to time frame that you use
lets say 15 min graph
make the int1 <15 min and the int2 at 15 min. if you want to see it as MTF just increase the int2 to the time set of your choice and play little with int1 to best setting

VZO is a leading volume oscillator that evaluates volume in relation to the direction of the net price change on each bar. 
A value of 40 or above shows bullish accumulation. Low values (< 40) are bearish. Near zero or between +/- 20, the market is either in consolidation or near a break out. When VZO is near +/- 60, an end to the bull/bear run should be expected soon. If that run has been opposite to the long term price trend direction, then a reversal often will occur. 
Traditional way of looking at this also works:

Renko ATR Trend + SMA Indicator by YCGH Capital🧭 Overview
The Renko ATR Trend + SMA Indicator is a trend-following tool designed for chart trading.
It combines Renko-style price movement logic (based on ATR) with a Simple Moving Average (SMA) filter to identify sustained bullish or bearish phases on any timeframe.
It plots a color-coded trend line directly on the price chart — green for bullish trends, red for bearish — and maintains a single active state (no repeated buy/sell signals) until the opposite condition appears.
⚙️ How It Works
1️⃣ Renko ATR Engine
Instead of using fixed box sizes like classic Renko charts, this indicator builds synthetic Renko movement based on ATR (Average True Range) of a chosen timeframe.
It pulls OHLC data from your selected Renko Source Timeframe (for example, 60-minute candles).
It calculates an ATR brick size — representing the minimum price move needed for a new Renko brick.
When price moves by at least one ATR in the opposite direction, it flips the trend.
This filters out small fluctuations and captures the underlying directional bias.
2️⃣ SMA Filter
A Simple Moving Average (SMA) acts as a trend confirmation filter.
Only when Renko direction aligns with the price relative to the SMA, a trend signal activates.
BUY → Renko uptrend + price above SMA
SELL → Renko downtrend + price below SMA
3️⃣ Stateful Signal Logic
Unlike typical indicators that spam multiple buy/sell shapes:
This version holds one persistent signal (Buy or Sell)
The state continues until an opposite signal is confirmed

SCHAFF TREND CYCLE (STC) CALCULATION:
The STC is a cyclical oscillator that combines MACD concepts with stochastic 
smoothing to create earlier and smoother trend signals.
Step 1: Calculate MACD
   - Fast MA = EMA(close, Length1) — default 23
   - Slow MA = EMA(close, Length2) — default 50
   - MACD Line = Fast MA - Slow MA
Step 2: First Stochastic Smoothing
   - Apply stochastic calculation to MACD
   - Stoch1 = 100 × (MACD - Lowest(MACD, Smoothing)) / (Highest(MACD, Smoothing) - Lowest(MACD, Smoothing))
   - Smooth result with EMA(Stoch1, Smoothing) — default 10
Step 3: Second Stochastic Smoothing
   - Apply stochastic calculation again to the smoothed stochastic
