Based RSI (BullDozz)Installation: To use this script, open TradingView and create a new Pine Script strategy. You can paste the code provided into the Pine Script editor. Premium MTF Layered RSI - Bitcoin Bot [wbburgin]This the premium version of my MTF Layered RSI strategy, which improves significantly on the original strategy (publicly available on my profile). Improvements are below. This strategy will also appear as an overlay on your chart. It is completely non-repainting. The MTF Layered RSI strategy uses the current timeframe and two configurable higher timeframes to enter a long position when Bitcoin is oversold on all three timeframes, and exit the long position when Bitcoin is overbought on the current timeframe. This hedges against situations where the RSI on higher timeframes never reaches the overbought level and we are left "holding the bag" so to speak with the classic "enter long at oversold and enter short at overbought" strategy. IMPORTANT: This strategy does not work on ranges. It will work on all timeframes and assets, but does not work on ranges (Renko blocks and some other advanced types of charts). ********** My Background I am an investor, trader, and entrepreneur with 10 years of cryptocurrency and equity trading experience and founder of two fintech startups. I am a graduate of a prestigious university in the United States and carry broad and inclusive interests in mathematical finance, computer science, machine learning / artificial intelligence, as well as other fields. ********** Improvements over the original MTF RSI strategy include: Filters for Uptrends and Downtrends → The Premium RSI strategy will adjust its buy and sell thresholds depending on whether the instrument is trending. This means that, in uptrends, the Premium strategy will buy more frequently, bringing in potentially greater profit, and in downtrends, the strategy will stop buying altogether. These filters and dynamic buy/sell thresholds have made this strategy more profitable in my backtesting across random timeframes, but I cannot guarantee that the strategy will be profitable for you on the default settings. To that end, I have enabled a number of different configurations that you can change in the settings of the strategy. Stop Loss / Take Profit Calculation Per Tick → Stop loss and take profit are now both enabled in the script and each has their own alerts. You can specify what type of stop loss or take profit you want: percentage or ATR. If you have alerts configured, you will be alerted mid-bar, instead of at close. This helps prevent loss from abrupt falls in price between closing price and next bar open. Customizable Alert Messages In-Strategy → In the settings, there will be text boxes where you can create your own alerts. All you will need to do is create an alert in the alert panel on Tradingview and leave the message box blank - if you fill out the alert boxes in the settings, these will automatically populate into your alerts. There are in total eight different customizable alerts messages: Entry, Exit, Stop loss, and Take profit alerts for both Long and Short sides. If you disable stop loss and/or take profit, these alerts will also be disabled. Similarly, if you disable shorts, all short alerts will be disabled. ********** Display Configuring Stop Loss or Take Profit will make their corresponding displays appear. Separately from the trading boxes, background colors (green, red) signify extended uptrends and downtrends, respectively. Configuring Alerts In TradingView desktop, go to the ‘Alerts’ tab on the right panel. Click the “+” button to create a new alert. Select this strategy for the condition and one of the two options that includes alert() function calls. Name the alert what you wish and clear the default message, because your text in the settings will replace this message. Now that the alert is configured, you can go to the settings of the strategy and fill in your chosen text for the specific alert condition. You will need to check “Long and Short” in the “Trade Direction” setting in order for any Short Alerts to become active. Mark Minervini, a 2x US Investment Champion, developed the Trend-Template, which covers eight different and independent characteristics that can be adjusted and optimized in this trend-following strategy to ensure the best results. The strategy will only trigger buy-signals in case the optimized qualifiers are being met. 2. Our strategy is based on the supply/demand balance in the market, making it timeless and effective across all timeframes. Whether you are day trading using 1- or 5-min charts or swing-trading using daily charts, this strategy can be applied and works very well. 3. This allows us to avoid major losses and drawdowns. This simple rule gives us a significant advantage over most undisciplined traders and amateurs!   'The Trend is your Friend'. This is a very old but true quote. What's behind it??? • 98% of stocks made their biggest gains in a Phase 2 upward trend. • If a stock is in a stable uptrend, this is evidence that larger institutions are buying the stock sustainably. • By focusing on stocks that are in a stable uptrend, the chances of profit are significantly increased. • In a stable uptrend, investors know exactly what to expect from further price developments. This makes it possible to locate low-risk entry points. The goal is not to buy at the lowest price – the goal is to buy at the right price! Each stock goes through the same maturity cycle – it starts at stage 1 and ends at stage 4   Stage 1 – Neglect Phase – Consolidation Stage 2 – Progressive Phase – Accumulation Stage 3 – Topping Phase – Distribution Stage 4 – Downtrend – Capitulation This strategy focuses on identifying stocks in confirmed stage 2 uptrends. This in itself gives us an advantage over long-term investors and less professional traders. By focusing on stocks in a stage 2 uptrend, we avoid losses in downtrends (stage 4) or less profitable consolidation phases (stages 1 and 3). We are fully invested and put our money to work for us, and we are fully invested when stocks are in their stage 2 uptrends. But how can we use technical chart analysis to find stocks that are in a stable stage 2 uptrend? Mark Minervini has developed the so-called 'trend template' for this purpose. This is an essential part of our JS-TechTrading pullback strategy. For our watchlists, only those individual values that meet the tough requirements of Minervini's trend template are eligible. The Trend Template • 200d MA increasing over a period of at least 1 month, better 4-5 months or longer • 150d MA above 200d MA • 50d MA above 150d MA and 200d MA • Course above 50d MA, 150d MA and 200d MA • Ideally, the 50d MA is increasing over at least 1 month • Price at least 25% above the 52w low • Price within 25% of 52w high • High relative strength according to IBD. NOTE: In this basic version of the script, the Trend-Template has to be used as a separate indicator on TradingView (Public Trend-Template indicators are available in TradingView – community scripts). It is recommended to only execute buy signals in case the stock or financial security is in a stage 2 uptrend, which means that the criteria of the trend-template are fulfilled. This strategy can be applied to all timeframes from 5 min to daily. The VWAP Momentum-Pullback Strategy For the JS-TechTrading VWAP Momentum-Pullback Strategy, only stocks and other financial instruments that meet the selected criteria of Mark Minervini's trend template are recommended for algorithmic trading with this startegy. A further prerequisite for generating a buy signals is that the individual value is in a short-term oversold state (RSI). When the selling pressure is over and the continuation of the uptrend can be confirmed by the MA / VWAP crossover after reaching a price low, a buy signal is issued by this strategy. Stop-loss limits and profit targets can be set variably. You also have the option to make use of the trailing stop exit strategy. Relative Strength Index (RSI) The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is a technical indicator developed by Welles Wilder in 1978. The RSI is used to perform a market value analysis and identify the strength of a trend as well as overbought and oversold conditions. The indicator is calculated on a scale from 0 to 100 and shows how much an asset has risen or fallen relative to its own price in recent periods. The RSI is calculated as the ratio of average profits to average losses over a certain period of time. A high value of the RSI indicates an overbought situation, while a low value indicates an oversold situation. Typically, a value > 70 is considered an overbought threshold and a value < 30 is considered an oversold threshold. A value above 70 signals that a single value may be overvalued and a decrease in price is likely , while a value below 30 signals that a single value may be undervalued and an increase in price is likely. For example, let's say you're watching a stock XYZ. After a prolonged falling movement, the RSI value of this stock has fallen to 26. This means that the stock is oversold and that it is time for a potential recovery. Therefore, a trader might decide to buy this stock in the hope that it will rise again soon. The MA / VWAP Crossover Trading Strategy This strategy combines two popular technical indicators: the Moving Average (MA) and the Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP). The MA VWAP crossover strategy is used to identify potential trend reversals and entry/exit points in the market. The VWAP is calculated by taking the average price of an asset for a given period, weighted by the volume traded at each price level. The MA, on the other hand, is calculated by taking the average price of an asset over a specified number of periods. When the MA crosses above the VWAP, it suggests that buying pressure is increasing, and it may be a good time to enter a long position. When the MA crosses below the VWAP, it suggests that selling pressure is increasing, and it may be a good time to exit a long position or enter a short position. Traders typically use the MA VWAP crossover strategy in conjunction with other technical indicators and fundamental analysis to make more informed trading decisions. As with any trading strategy, it is important to carefully consider the risks and potential rewards before making any trades. This strategy is applicable to all timeframes and the relevant parameters for the underlying indicators (RSI and MA/VWAP) can be adjusted and optimized as needed. Backtesting Backtesting gives outstanding results on all timeframes and drawdowns can be reduced to a minimum level. In this example, the hourly chart for MCFT has been used. Settings for backtesting are: - Period from Jan 2020 until March 2023 - Starting capital 100k USD - Position size = 25% of equity - 0.01% commission = USD 2.50.- per Trade - Slippage = 2 ticks Other comments - This strategy has been designed to identify the most promising, highest probability entries and trades for each stock or other financial security. - The combination of the Trend-Template and the RSI qualifiers results in a highly selective strategy which only considers the most promising swing-trading entries. As a result, you will normally only find a low number of trades for each stock or other financial security per year in case you apply this strategy for the daily charts. Shorter timeframes will result in a higher number of trades / year. - Consequently, traders need to apply this strategy for a full watchlist rather than just one financial security.

Reinforced RSI - The Quant Science This strategy was designed and written with the goal of showing and motivating the community how to integrate our 'Probabilities' module with their own script. We have recreated one of the simplest strategies used by many traders. The strategy only trades long and uses the overbought and oversold levels on the RSI indicator. We added stop losses and take profits to offer more dynamism to the strategy. Then the 'Probabilities' module was integrated to create a probabilistic reinforcement on each trade. Specifically, each trade is executed, only if the past probabilities of making a profitable trade is greater than or equal to 51%. This greatly increased the performance of the strategy by avoiding possible bad trades. The backtesting was calculated on the NASDAQ:TSLA , on 15 minutes timeframe. Follow AI’s suggestions Optimization Prompt: After loading your strategy, the indicator will prompt you to change the RSI length range and RSI level range to a better performing range. Continue changing the RSI length range and RSI level range to match the indicator's suggestions until "Best Found" is displayed! The image above shows results after we applied the tool’s suggestions. New suggestions have appeared, and we will continue to apply them. Continue to adjust settings as recommended by the optimizer. If no better options are found, the optimizer will suggest increasing the number of combinations. Repeat this process until the optimizer indicates that the optimal setting has been identified. Technical-oriented, mechanical trading systems work when a valid correlation is methodical to the extent that an objective, precisely-defined ruleset can consistently exploit it. If no such correlation exists, or a technical-oriented system is erroneously designed to exploit an illusory correlation (absent predictive utility), the trading system will fail. Evaluate results practically and test parameters rigorously after discovery. Simply mining the best-performing parameters and immediately trading them is unlikely a winning strategy. Put as much effort into testing strong-performing parameters and building an accompanying system as you would any other trading strategy. Automated optimization involves curve fitting - it's the responsibility of the trader to validate a replicable sequence or correlation and the trading system that exploits it.

RSITrendStrategyI don't know if there is any strategy based on RSI cross over. The strategy is designed based on RSI crossover, considering RSI(5) and RSI(11), with RSI(6) to identify highs & lows. I used this strategy to trade in Nifty 50 & Nifty bank indices. Whenever there is long mentioned on chart, I go for buying call option with premium near to 300, and placing stoploss of 50 on candle closing basis, vice versa. Target is open until short is mentioned on the chart. Sometimes, i used standard pivot points as well to mark my targets and also to trail my trades.

MACD, RSI, & RVOL Strategy This strategy combines the use of MACD (12, 26, 9), RSI (14, 30, 70), and RVOL (14) to create Long Buy and Sell signals. This works well with many different time intervals but was developed with 15-minute intervals in mind. Using MACD as a reference, the strategy identifies when the MACD line crosses over (a factor in a buy signal) and under (a factor in a Sell signal) the Signal line. This shows a shift in positive (cross over) and negative (cross under) of a security. Using the Relative Strength Index ( RSI ) as an indicator, the strategy notices when the velocity and magnitude of the directional price movements cross over the Oversold signal (30) and crosses under the Overbought signal (70) as a factor in creating a Buy and Sell signal. Using Relative Volume (RVOL) as an indicator, the strategy calculates when the current volume has crossed over the 2x average volume indicator over a given period and is then used as a factor in creating a Buy signal. RVOL is also used when the change in volume crosses under a set RVOL number (in this strategy, it is set to a RVOL of 5). RVOL = Current Volume / Average Volume over a certain period This strategy indicates a Buy signal when 2/3 conditions are met: - RSI Cross Over the Over Sold signal (default 30) - MACD Cross Over of Signal ( MACD > Signal) - RVOL Cross Over of 2 (RVOL > 2) This strategy indicates a Sell signal when 2/3 conditions are met: - RSI Cross Under the Over Bought signal (default 70) - MACD Cross Under of Signal ( MACD < Signal) - RVOL Cross Under 5 (RVOL < 5) Enjoy and leave feedback!

RSI Classic Strategy (by Coinrule)One of the questions hobbyist traders more often ask is: what is the perfect trading indicator? Every indicator is just a tool, so its efficiency is proportional to your ability to read its signals and translate them into an actionable trading strategy. The RSI is likely the most flexible and easy to use among the technical indicators. This trading strategy tries to catch short-term swings on the coins of your choice with a simple yet profitable setup. Buy when the RSI is lower than 30 (you can adjust it to 35 in times of steep uptrend). Sell when the RSI is greater than 65 (the target may range between 60 and 75 depending on the volatility of the coin). Note that the buy signal comes when the indicator crosses below 30 and not when it crosses above 30 as it happens on the built-in RSI strategy on Tradingview. The present script overperforms the built-in strategy, even adding trading fees and using a lower amount of capital for each trade (30%). That means that the system can deliver higher net-profits with lower risk levels. A typical example of market conditions where this strategy works perfectly is as follows. The first initial breakout indicates that a new leg up in the trend may start. Bitcoin starts to trade within a range which you can identify when it reaches the point 3. That is the perfect time to start the rule because - trading within a channel anticipates possible swings up and down - the trend is on the upside, providing low downside risk in buying the dips. This strategy works well with selected coins of your choice, and it's a great fit on leverage exchanges like Binance Futures. If you prefer to run it across all available coins on the market, instead, you may choose an optimized version.

RSI on VWAP Upgraded strategyFirst of all, the idea of apply RSI to VWAP was inspired by XaviZ; at least, that where I first saw that. I simply applied the idea and searched for apply this on lower timeframe (M15) to increase the number of positions and improve the profit factor. The conditions to enter are the same : long : enter on RSI crossover oversold level short : enter on RSI crossunder oversell level To close position, I found a little change to apply : long : close position when RSI(VWAP) went in overbought zone and crossunder the overbought level OR after being at least x bars in the overbought zone (parameter is 28 by default) => when the first condition happens short : close position when RSI(VWAP) went in oversold zone and crossover the oversold level OR after being at least x bars in the oversell zone (parameter is 28 by default) => when the first condition happens With this change, I got better results specially on BTCUSDTPERP (M15) where I reach a 6.8 profit factor with 119 trades closed. Not BAD ! The defaults parameters are the best found for BTCUSDTPERP (M15), but the strategy works fine for other pairs if you take time to find the rights combinations. In this strategy you can change (with defaults in () ): RSI length (28) RSI overbought level (85) RSI oversell level (30) Number of bars before leaving as explain above (28) The choice to take longs only, shorts only or both The number of coin/token by position The start date for backtesting Please note that the script use a pyramiding parameter of 3 (can be changed in the first line of the script); that means that you can take up to 3 positions before closing. It lets you improve average enter price but increase the risk. 3 is the best I found to improve profit factor without expose myself too much. This script would be better if automated because of the conditions of buy and sell. It's only for educative purpose, not an advice to invest. Double RSI Strategy(ALMA RSI + Hull RSI)We're back at it with a brand new strategy centered around an Arnaud Legoux RSI and Hull RSI. This one took a lot longer to make than usual, which is the reason there hasn't been any new posts the last week. The first component of the strategy is the Hull RSI. The Hull RSI is shown in light blue and its upper and lower bounds are plotted as the dark pink and teal horizontal lines. Applying a Hull Moving Average to the RSI results in higher smoothness and less false signals. The lengths of the RSI and the HMA of the RSI can both be adjusted by the user. We then used a similar process to calculate an Arnaud Legoux Moving Average(ALMA) of the RSI. The ALMA RSI is shown as the solid white line, while its upper and lower thresholds are the green and red horizontal lines. The ALMA RSI is a great tool since it is adaptable for multiple different uses - users can adjust the offset, sigma, and length values to modify the RSI's responsiveness and smoothness. Input Options for ALMA RSI: -Offset : Value in range {0,1} that adjusts the curve of the Gaussian Distribution. A higher value will result in higher responsiveness but lower smoothness. A lower value will mean higher smoothness but less responsiveness. -Length : The lookback for each ALMA calculation. -Sigma : Defines the sharpe of the curve coefficients. The entry and exit signals generated by the Hull RSI are represented by the small green(buy) and red(sell) circles, while the green and red vertical highlights are the ALMA RSI's buy and sell signals. By default, we set the pyramiding to 3, with 50% equity used in each trade to allow the ALMA to make the longer-term swing trades and higher frequency trades made with the Hull RSI. QuantNomad - RSI Strategy - LTCUSDT - 5mReally nice performance of Simple RSI Strategy for LTCUSDT ( Binance ) 5m chart. Params: RSI Length: 3, RSI OverSold level: 47, RSI OverBought Level: 56 Performance: 391% profit, 2400 trades, 42% prof, 14.6% dd , 0.65 sharpe. I think this strategy can be a really nice base for a pretty good strategy. We have quite a lot of trades here you can add additional filters that will improve strategy a bit. And remember: Past performance does not guarantee future results.

Kozlod - RSI Strategy - 1 minute - ETHUSDTrying to find simple strategies with optimal parameters which work well for certain symbols/timeframe. Found that basic RSI strategy without any position management works pretty good for 1m chart for BTCUSDT. It might not work very good on it's not but can give you a pretty good base for more complicated indicators. Also, some position management as simple as static SL and PT can improve performance quite a lot. And remember: Past performance does not guarantee future results.

Kozlod - RSI Strategy - 1 minuteStarted to play with very simple strategies. Trying to find ones with optimal parameters which work well for certain symbols/timeframe. Found that basic RSI strategy without any position management with high RSI length (65 in this script) works pretty good for 1m chart for few stocks. It's also not bad for AAPL , SPY . It might not work very good on it's not but can give you a pretty good base for more complicated indicators. And remember: Past performance does not guarantee future results.
