Percent Rank HistogramThis Pine script indicator is designed to create a visual representation of the percent rank for multiple financial instruments. Here's a breakdown of its key features:
Percent Rank Calculation:
The core functionality of this Pine script indicator revolves around the calculation of the percent rank for each selected financial instrument.
The percent rank is a statistical measure that indicates the percentage of historical data points that are less than or equal to the current value in a given series.
Symbol Selection:
The script allows the user to select up to 10 financial instruments (tickers) for analysis. The default symbols include various cryptocurrencies such as BTCUSD, ETHUSD etc., and TOTAL market cap at ticker 1, to show overal trend of crypto market.
(Top 9 Coins by market cap).
Columns and Colors:
The script visually represents the percent rank using columns based on lines.
The color of each column is determined by a gradient from red to green based on the calculated percent rank, providing a quick visual indication of the instrument's relative performance.
BTC Trending Up while other coins are underperformance:
Labels:
Labels are displayed on the chart, indicating the symbol name and the corresponding percent rank percentage.
The labels include directional arrows (▲ or ▼) to denote whether the percent rank is increasing or decreasing.
Customization:
Users can customize parameters such as the percent rank length and column width to adapt the indicator to their specific preferences, or select needed assets to compare them to each other.
Chart Desk and Scales:
The script includes the visualization of a chart desk with scale lines to provide additional context to the chart. When Percent Rank above middle scale line (50) usually it signaling about asset trending up and below 50 asset trending down.
Mozilla Public License:
The script is subject to the terms of the Mozilla Public License 2.0.
This indicator is useful for traders and analysts interested in visually assessing the percent rank of multiple financial instruments simultaneously, helping them identify potential opportunities or trends in the market.

Percent Rank (ValueRay)The Percent Rank is naturally quite choppy. I therefor placed an EMA(3) over it and make the origin Percent Rank only slightly visible. I also add some boundaries.
Note that the EMA of the Percent Rank looks quite similiar to the Connors RSI.
Use it as the RSI.
Varadi OscillatorThe Varadi Oscillator (VDO) is a leading indicator first proposed by David Varadi and originally aim to reduce the influence of the trend component in oscillators. The DVO can be described as a rolling percent rank of detrended prices over a certain lookback period. The detrending process used for the calculation of the indicator is based on the simple moving average of the ratio between the closing price and median (hl2) price.
Both the length of the percent rank and the moving average used for detrending can be adjusted by the user. We can see that the VDO can lead price movements.
Don't have time to post anything else, if the indicator is too simple, moderators can feel free to remove it and ban me for some time, won't complain.
[RESEARCH] Percentrank BugI found a bug with built-in percentrank function. Sometimes it gives unexpected and incorrect results. You can see a one of them on the chart.
ALL scripts which use percentrank function are affected. No matter which version they use, no matter who is their author - ALL scripts which use this built-in function can work incorrectly.
If you want to avoid this bug use _percentrank function (the "shim" ) - you can find it in the script.
NOTE: Don't push on TradingView Support or Pine Core Team because they already know about this issue and work on the fix. I publish it to warn you.
RSI/Stochastic/Percentrank all on chart and all in oneThe limitation of max 3 indicators on tradingview is pretty bad for indicators lovers (like me) so i made this script able to contain a rsi, a stochastic and a percent rank and that in only one indicator !! Pretty cool isn't it ? ;)
Every parameter is linked to one indicator, you can have all of them with differents period lengths
You have the possibility to disable each indicators and add clarity to the chart.
Do you want me to add more indicators ? If yes witch ? Comment bellow :D
Hope this help
