Change in State of Delivery CISD [AlgoAlpha]🟠 OVERVIEW This script tracks how price “changes delivery” after failed attempts to push in one direction. It builds swing levels from pivots, watches for those levels to be wicked, and then checks if price delivers cleanly in the opposite direction. When the pattern meets the script’s tolerance rules, it marks a Change in State of Delivery (CISD). These CISD levels are drawn as origin lines and are used to spot shifts in intent, failed pushes, and continuation attempts. A CISD becomes stronger when it forms after opposing liquidity is swept within a defined lookback. 🟠 CONCEPTS The script first defines structure using swing highs/lows. These levels act as potential liquidity points. When price wicks through a swing, the script registers a mitigation event. After this, it looks for a reversal-style candle sequence: a failed push, followed by a counter-move strong enough to pass a tolerance ratio. This ratio compares how far price expanded away from the failed attempt versus the counter-move that followed. If the ratio is high enough, this becomes a CISD. The idea is simple: liquidity interaction sets context , and the tolerance logic identifies actual intent . cd_sfp_CxGeneral: This indicator is designed to assist users who trade the Swing Failure Pattern ( SFP ). In technical literature (various definitions exist), an SFP is a situation where the price violates a previous swing level but fails to close beyond that level. • (Liquidity Sweep) • (Buyer or seller dominance) • (Stop hunt) • (Turtle Soup) The general strategy is built upon seeking trade opportunities after an SFP is formed and conviction is established that the market direction has changed. Components used to gather confirmation: • Determining Bias: Periodic SAR • Obtaining Breakout/Reversal Confirmation: Change in State Delivery (CISD) • Defining the Buyer/Seller Block (Supply/Demand Zones): Mitg Blocks (Mitigation Blocks), FVG (Fair Value Gaps), and Standard Deviation Projection • Key Levels: Previous HTF (Higher Time Frame) levels • Setting Targets: Standard Deviation Projection • Trade Management: Anchored VWAP and opposing blocks • Time-Based Context: Session Killzone times • Notifications: An alarm/alert system will be utilized to stay informed. ________________________________________ Details: Swing and Swing Failure Pattern: Swing Sweep Types (Liquidity Sweep): 1. Single 2. Consecutive (The liquidity of the entity that swept the liquidity is being swept) Bias Determination We need to filter out the numerous SFPs that occur across all time frames. Our first strong filter will be the Bias. We will only look for trades aligned with our bias. We will use Periodic SAR (Stop and Reverse) to determine the bias. We compare the price with the SAR value from a Higher Time Frame than the one we are trading on. • Price > SAR => Bullish Bias • Price < SAR => Bearish Bias Depending on the pair, H1 SAR may be chosen for scalp trades, and Daily/Weekly SAR for intraday and swing trades. Key Levels Strategies looking for trades after a liquidity grab generally state that the sweep / stop hunt movement should occur at a significant price level. The most fundamental Key Level levels are (User can customize): • Previous Week High & Low • Previous Day High & Low • Previous H4 High & Low • Previous H1 High & Low • Asia Killzone High & Low • London Killzone High & Low • New York Killzone High & Low • Monday Range High & Low values We will prefer SFP formations that occur when these levels are swept. When Key Levels are violated, an information label appears on the screen. Blocks / Zones To strengthen our hand, we will use three types of blocks/zones, either with Key Levels or separately. When an SFP structure is formed in these areas (along with bias and breakout confirmation), our expectation is for the price to continue in our desired direction. These regions are: 1. Mitigation Blocks (Mtg) o (Details can be found in the cd_VWAP_mtg_Cx indicator) o In short: A second candle, following a bullish candle, crosses its high but fails to close above it. We call this a sweep / SFP. When the price, which was expected to go to the low, instead makes a new high/close, an Mtg block is formed. (Buyers are dominant) 2. FVGs (Fair Value Gaps) o We use classic FVG structures. 3. Standard Deviation Projection Boxes o When we get an SFP structure + breakout confirmation (CISD), we use the Standard Deviation Projection to determine our profit-taking and take-profit levels. o Based on the idea that the price often respects the range between -2 and -2.5 of the projection values, we box this range and use it as our area of interest. (Our expectation is for the price to reverse after reaching this target). o Let's mark it on the chart. Confirmation To summarize what has been explained so far: we look for the price to form an SFP structure in levels/zones we deem important, aligned with our bias, and for the breakout to be confirmed with a CISD. No single component is strong on its own, but the success rate increases when they occur together. We observe the following as additional confirmation along with the CISD: a new Mtg block forming in the direction of the breakout, high-volume movement (with FVG and a large body), and respect for VWAPs, the resistance/support line, and the defense block. Additional Confirmations with Breakouts: • Defence block, new mtg and VWAP • Resistance / Support Line: Indicator Signals The indicator marks all formed sweeps, selected key levels, blocks, the projection, and CISD confirmations on the screen. The candle where the CISD confirmation occurs is indicated by an arrow. • Arrows with double short lines signify a CISD that follows an SFP occurring at a Key Level. • All other CISD candle indications are shown with single-line arrows. Trade Management When selecting profit targets in trades (preferably), the projection, opposing blocks, and structures that have formed are taken into account. Do not neglect to look at the structures that have formed against you when entering a trade. Menu Settings: • For Mtg blocks, the trading timeframe or a higher timeframe can be selected. • FVGs formed in the current timeframe are displayed when the price creates an SFP (in "Fvg" option). • Deviation boxes are displayed when the price creates an SFP (in box). • The SAR HTF setting (H1) for scalp trades may vary depending on the pair. Users trying trades on higher timeframes should increase the HTF setting. o Example: If you are looking for a trade with an SFP structure on H1, the SAR HTF setting should be H4 or higher. • VWAP lines are refreshed starting from the candle that executed the sweep when the price forms an SFP. The only setting to adjust is the source selection setting (hlc3 is selected). • Time frames and Killzone / Special Zone settings for Key Levels can be changed/should be checked. Alarms / Alerts: The conditions that will trigger an alert can be selected from the menu. • To receive an alert aligned with the bias, the "Alignment with bias" checkbox must be selected. • The alert should be set on the timeframe where you plan to enter the trade. • The display options do not affect the alarm conditions. (Example: FVGs are monitored even when the menu selection is "off"). • If the necessary conditions are met, the alarm is triggered on the new candle that opens after the CISD confirmation. • The alarm will not be triggered more than once at the same Key Level. The user can preferably select alerts: • Bias-aligned or Bias-independent • Sweep (without waiting for CISD) • Sweep + CISD (without looking for other conditions) • Sweep + Key Level + CISD (the swept level is a Key Level) • Sweep + Mtg / Fvg / Dev. + CISD (SFP formed in any of the blocks) • Sweep + Mtg + CISD (SFP formed in the Mtg block) • Sweep + Fvg + CISD (SFP formed inside the FVG) • Sweep + Deviation Box + CISD (SFP formed inside the Dev. cd_SMT_Sweep_CISD_CxGeneral This indicator is designed to show trading opportunities after sweeps of higher timeframe (HTF) highs/lows and, if available, Smart Money Technique (SMT) divergence with a correlated asset, followed by confirmation from a lower timeframe change in state delivery (CISD). Users can track SMT, Sweep, and CISD levels across nine different timeframes. ________________________________________ Usage and Details Commonly correlated timeframes are available in the menu by default. Users can also enter other compatible timeframes manually if necessary. The indicator output is presented as: • A summary table • Display on HTF candles • CISD levels shown as lines Users can disable any of these from the menu. Presentations of selected timeframes are displayed only if they are greater than or equal to the active chart timeframe. From the Show/Hide section, you can control the display of: • SMT table • Sweep table • HTF candles • CISD levels • HTF boxes aligned with the active timeframe ________________________________________ SMT Analysis To receive analysis, users must enter correlated assets in the menu (or adjust them as needed). If asset X is paired with correlated asset Y, then a separate entry for Y correlated with X is not required. Four correlation pairs are included by default. Users should check them according to their broker/exchange or define new ones. Checkboxes at the beginning of each row allow activation/deactivation of pairs. SMT analysis is performed on the last three candles of each selected HTF. If one asset makes a new high while the correlated one does not (or one makes a new low while the other does not), this is considered SMT and will be displayed both in the table and on the chart. Charts without defined correlated assets will not display an SMT table. ________________________________________ Sweep Analysis For the selected timeframes, the current candle is compared with the previous one. If price violates the previous level and then pulls back behind it, this is considered a sweep. It is displayed in both the table and on the chart. Within correlated pairs, the analysis is done separately and shown only in the table. Example with correlated and non-correlated pairs: • In the table, X = false, ✓ = true. • The Sweep Table has two columns for Bullish and Bearish results. • For correlated pairs, both values appear side by side. • For undefined pairs, only the active asset is shown. Let’s break down the example below: • Active asset: Nasdaq • Correlated asset: US500 (defined in the menu, confirmed in the table bottom row) • Active timeframe: H1 → therefore, the HTF box is shown for Daily • Since a correlated pair is defined, the indicator runs both SMT and Sweep analysis for the selected timeframes. Without correlation, only Sweep analysis would be shown. Table is prepared for H1 and higher timeframes (as per user selection and active TF). Observations: • SMT side → H1 timeframe shows a bearish warning • Sweep side → Bearish column shows X and ✓ o X → no sweep on Nasdaq o ✓ → sweep on US500 Meaning: US500 made a new high (+ sweep) while Nasdaq did not → SMT formed. The last column of the table shows the compatible LTF for confirmation. For H1, it suggests checking the 5m timeframe. On the chart: • CISD levels for selected timeframes are drawn • SMT line is marked on H1 candles • Next step: move to 5m chart for CISD confirmation before trading (with other confluences). Similarly, the Daily row in the table shows a Bullish Sweep on US500. ________________________________________ Alerts Two alert options are available: 1. Activate Alert (SMT + Sweep): Triggers if both SMT and Sweep occur in the selected timeframes. (Classic option) 2. Activate Alert (Sweep + Sweep): Triggers if sweeps occur in both assets of a correlated pair at the same timeframe. Interpretation: If SMT + Sweep are already present on higher timeframes, and simultaneous sweeps appear on lower timeframes, this may indicate a strong directional move. Of course, this must be validated with CISD and other confluences. ________________________________________ HTF CISD Levels Although CISD levels act as confirmation levels in their own timeframe, observing how price reacts to HTF CISD levels can provide valuable insights for intraday analysis. Trading "gurus" call this the HTF bias. While we small fish tend to swim in all directions, the smart way is to flow with the big wave and the current. This indicator is designed to help us anticipate that major wave. ________________________________________ Details and Usage: This indicator observes HTF price action across preferably seven different pairs, following specific rules. It confirms potential directional moves using CISD levels on a Medium Time Frame (MTF). In short, it forecasts the likely direction (HTF bias). The user can then search for trade opportunities aligned with this bias on a Lower Time Frame (LTF), using their preferred pair, entry model, and style. ________________________________________ Timeframe Alignment: The commonly accepted LTF/MTF/HTF combinations include: • 1m – 15m – H4 • 3m – H1 – Daily / 3m – 30m – Daily • 5m – H1 – Daily • 15m – H4 – Weekly • H1 – Daily – Monthly • H4 – Weekly – Quarterly Example: If you're trading with a 3m model on a 30m/3m setup, you should seek trades in the direction of the H1/Daily bias. ________________________________________ How It Works: The indicator first looks for sweeps on the selected HTF — when any of the last four candles are swept, the first condition is met. If SMT is enabled, it will appear as a label on the chart. When both HTF sweep and LTF CISD conditions are met, the indicator marks the chart at the open of the next candle and triggers an alert if set. CISD levels are tracked and updated whenever a new HTF high/low is formed. 2. The indicator monitors the formation of entry models on up to six selected pairs, displaying results in two separate tables: o HTF Sweep Query Table: Monitors live HTF candles and reports pairs that meet the sweep condition. o CISD Table: Displays the pairs where a valid entry model has formed. For instance, choosing a pivot distance of 3 instead of 2 alters the structure, even though the chart remains the same. Ideally, the structure should remain consistent. "Change in State Delivery" ( CISD ) is a widely accepted concept among traders and is considered a significant indicator of market direction based on the gain/loss of CISD levels. In this indicator, CISD is selected as the primary criterion for marking market structure, eliminating the influence of user-dependent variations. Here is a summary of the key logic and rules applied: • When the price forms a new high/low, that level is only considered a pivot if a CISD has occurred. • A bullish CISD is always followed by a bearish CISD, and vice versa. • Pivot points form the internal structure. • The internal structure is used to interpret the swing structure. • Probabilities are derived from internal structure patterns. ________________________________________ Details: How is CISD determined? As is commonly known: • When price makes a new high, the opening level of the first candle in the consecutive bullish candle sequence is marked. • When price makes a new low, the opening of the first candle in the consecutive bearish sequence is marked. • If there’s only one candle in the sequence, its opening level is used. In a bullish market, losing a bearish CISD level (i.e., a close below it) or in a bearish market, gaining a bullish CISD level (i.e., a close above it) is interpreted as a potential shift in buyer-seller dominance and a possible market reversal. ________________________________________ How are internal (pivot) levels determined? • When price closes below a bearish CISD level, the highest candle's high becomes a pivot high (PH). • When price closes above a bullish CISD level, the lowest candle's low becomes a pivot low (PL). • If the new PH is above the previous PH, it’s labeled as HH (Higher High); otherwise, LH (Lower High). • If the new PL is below the previous PL, it’s labeled as LL (Lower Low); otherwise, HL (Higher Low). ________________________________________ Internal Market Structure: • A series of HHs indicates a bullish internal structure. • A series of LLs indicates a bearish internal structure. ________________________________________ Swing (Main) Market Structure: Using internal pivots and previous swing levels, the main market structure is derived. • A new swing high (SH) requires the price to move above the previous SH. • A new swing low (SL) requires the price to move below the previous SL. ________________________________________ Probability Calculation: Pivot levels forming the internal structure are coded as five-element sequences. Change in State of Delivery (CISD) [LuxAlgo]The Change In State Of Delivery (CISD) indicator detects and displays Change in State Of Delivery, a concept related to market structures. Users can choose between two different CISD detection methods. Various filtering options are also included to filter out less significant CISDs. 🔶 USAGE A Change in State of Delivery (CISD) is a concept closely related to market structures, where price breaks a level of interest, confirming trends and their continuations from the resulting breakouts. Unlike more traditional market structures which rely on swing points, CISDs rely on a persistent sequence of candles, using the sequence extremes as breakout levels. CISDs are detected as follows: Bullish: The price closes above the opening price of the first candle in a sequence of bearish candles (or its own opening price if it's the only candle). Bearish: The price closes below the opening price of the first candle in a sequence of bullish candles (or its own opening price if it's the only candle). If a newly detected CISD aligns with the indicator's current established trend, this confirms a trend continuation (represented with a dashed line). On the other hand, if a newly detected CISD is in the opposite direction to the detected trend it can confirm a trend reversal (represented with a solid line). 🔹 Liquidity Sweep Detection Method Using Liquidity Sweeps to update CISD breakout levels allows us to obtain less frequent and more relevant levels that are less sensitive to noisy price variations. Sweeps are obtained from detected Swing Points , with a higher Swing Length allowing us to obtain longer-term swing levels and potentially more detected sweeps from a specific level over time. Note: The 'Swing Length' setting is only applicable on the Liquidity Sweep Detection Method and will only change the Liquidity levels. A Liquidity Sweep is valid when the price reaches an important liquidity level , after which the price closes below/above this level. Bullish scenario: The price goes below a previous unbroken Swing Low but closes above. Bearish scenario: The price goes above a previous unbroken Swing High but closes below. After a Liquidity Sweep has been detected, the last level of importance acts as support/resistance . Breaking this level in the other direction changes the state of delivery . Users must keep observing the price and significant levels, as highlighted by the white rectangle in the above example. 🔹 CISD Filtering Users can adjust the following two settings: Minimum CISD Duration: The minimum length of the 'CISD' line Maximum Swing Validity: The maximum length of the 'CISD' line; potential CISD lines that aren't broken are deleted when exceeding the limit. The chart can get cluttered when the Minimum CISD Duration is low. Users could focus on a switch in trend (first solid line CISD ), where the following dashed CISD lines can be seen as extra opportunities/confirmations. 🔶 DETAIL 🔹 Using Different Timeframes When an important liquidity level (Previous Swing high/low, FVG, etc.) is reached on the higher timeframe, the user can move to a lower timeframe to check whether there is a CISD . Above example: The high of the last candle breaches a liquidity level (previous Swing High). The opening price of the last candle acts as a trigger/confirmation level. A confirmed CISD is seen in a lower timeframe, just after this Liquidity Sweep. This could be an early opportunity. First, you need to have a directional bias for the month or the specific candle in question. It should be of high time frame (HTF BIAS). At the open of the specific candle, the market will generate interest in the direction opposite to the HTF BIAS, accumulating positions. It will then manipulate the positions of less informed traders to generate the necessary liquidity to fill informed operators positions. Finally, positions are distributed in favor of the bias. ------------------------- The PO3 is a phenomenon that repeats across all timeframes.
