Volume Spikes [Pratik] - Standard
The initial Pine Script indicator, "Volume Spikes [Pratik] - EMA", detects and highlights candles where the trading volume exceeds a specified threshold relative to the EMA (Exponential Moving Average) of the volume. Key features include:
A volume multiplier (default: 2.5x) that determines when a volume spike is significant by comparing the current volume to the volume EMA multiplied by this factor.
A custom session time input allows users to specify the trading hours during which volume spikes should be detected.
Candles with volume spikes are highlighted using a bright yellow color when the volume exceeds the calculated threshold during the defined session.
This script helps traders identify periods of high-volume activity that might signal important market moves.
