Daily Weekly Monthly Opens

This script plots the current daily, weekly and monthly opens (all enabled by default).

Here are some additional info about the drawing behavior:
  • Daily open is shown only on intraday timeframes
  • Weekly open is shown only on timeframes < weekly
  • Monthly open is shown only on timeframes < monthly
Versionshinweise: Add an option to show tails on opens (disabled by default). Tails can help to better visualize how price previously traded at these levels.

In addition, for low timeframes, it provides a work around for PineScript not drawing a line if the open isn't yet visible on the screen.
Versionshinweise: Allow changing colors
Versionshinweise: Minor fix on updating issue.
Versionshinweise:
  • Add yearly open
  • Allow individual coloring
  • Minor fixes and improvements

Nice update. Any way to make it so it doesn't try to squeeze all the lines in view on the chart. Example; having monthly open on chart if price is far away from it, on low time frames will force it into view squeezing the chart.

Thanks @koatrades, I have decomposed the line into a head/body/tail so that the head and tail don't need any squeezing. As for the body this implementation can't support it.
