1H Trend & Strength Dashboard

This indicator provides a higher-timeframe (HTF) trend confirmation and momentum strength overview directly on your chart, helping traders stay aligned with the dominant market direction while executing on lower timeframes.

The script pulls data from a user-defined higher timeframe (default: 1 Hour) and evaluates trend structure using an EMA crossover model combined with RSI momentum analysis.

How It Works:
• Trend Detection (EMA 8 / EMA 21):
Determines directional bias using a fast and slow EMA from the selected higher timeframe.
– Fast EMA above Slow EMA → Bullish Trend
– Fast EMA below Slow EMA → Bearish Trend
– No clear separation → Neutral / Transition

• Momentum Confirmation (RSI 14):
Measures strength behind the move to avoid trading weak trends.
– RSI > 55 → Bullish Momentum
– RSI < 45 → Bearish Momentum
– Between 45–55 → Neutral / Consolidation

• Strength Score:
Combines trend and momentum into a simple directional strength value, giving a quick read on whether conditions favor continuation or caution.

• Visual Dashboard (Top-Right Table):
A color-coded panel summarizes:
– EMA Trend Status
– RSI Bias
– Overall Strength Reading
Green = Bullish | Red = Bearish | Gray = Neutral

Why Use It:
This tool is designed to prevent counter-trend trading by keeping you anchored to the higher-timeframe structure while timing entries on your execution timeframe. Ideal for scalpers, intraday traders, and swing traders who want fast confirmation without switching charts.
