** Shares in Vallourec VK fall 4% after publishing a drop in its Q2 core profit

** Its operating earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) fell 10% at 187 million euros ($219.56 million) in the second quarter of 2025

** "Tubes EBITDA fell by -13% QoQ due to a fall in volumes delivered, which offset an improvement in the unit margin," Midcap Partners analysts say in a note

** The Group didn't unveil a 2025 guidance unlike the H1 2024, which Midcap Partners interprets as a certain lack of visibility for the last quarter, particularly in the U.S.

** Shares in Vallourec are on track for their worst day since May 26, if losses hold
