Brazil's Cargill CEO says country has plenty of corn to supply world

Brazilian corn production will be plentiful, allowing the country to continue to be a large supplier in world markets, Paulo Sousa, chief executive of grain trader Cargill in the South American nation, said on Wednesday during an industry event.

Brazil is currently cultivating the "safrinha" corn, which is planted after soybeans are harvested and represents 70%-80% of national output depending on the year. Brazil's safrinha corn is looking very good, Sousa said.
