IoTeX to Host Meetup in Seoul on September 22nd

IoTeX will organize DePIN x AI: r3al meetup on September 22 in Seoul, as part of Korea Blockchain Week’s side events. The event will focus on innovation at the intersection of Web3, DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks), and AI, bringing together builders, top Korean investors, and ecosystem partners, including Theta Network and Nubit. Registration is required due to limited spots.

IoTeX (IOTX) is an open-source blockchain platform specifically designed for the Internet of Things (IoT) with a strong emphasis on scalability, privacy, isolation, and the ability to develop decentralized applications and IoT ecosystems.

IoTeX was created to address the technical challenges faced by existing IoT ecosystems, such as security issues, high maintenance costs, and scalability limitations. The project is developing a new blockchain architecture to support a large number of IoT devices.

At the core of IoTeX is the concept of "blockchain within a blockchain." The main network, or "root blockchain," is responsible for network management and security, while internal blockchains, or "sub-blockchains," are used to manage various IoT devices and process transactions.

The IoTeX network utilizes its native token, IOTX, for operations such as transaction fee payments and participation in network governance.
