CB Moving Average [ChuckBanger]

Bitcoin / U.S. dollarBitstamp

Beschreibung

I was experimenting with the zero lag moving average from John Ehlers and the Hull moving average and noticed that they seemed to respond in complementary to each other. They blend together to make a moving average which responds with almost no lag at all. It is similar to Jurik's moving average clones i have found here on TradingView...

This is a comparison to Everget's Juriks Moving Average. The green line is CB Moving Average and the purple line is JMA

Versionshinweise

THX to cheatcountry who pointed it out. The script should be like this

I don't understand your for loop which doesn't actually run through any loop since it starts with the emaGainLimit and ends with the emaGainLimit. Is this a typo or am I missing something?

@cheatcountry, Have to look in to that. But yes it look like a typo...

@ChuckBanger, Did you mean to write for i = 1 to emaGainLimit? The other part I don't understand is that since the default emaGainLimit is set to 50 for your gain you set it to i / 10 so that would make the gain 5 when I'm assuming you want gain to be between 0.01 and 0.99? I could be operating under a faulty assumption but I would suggest changing the gain to i / emaGainLimit if I'm correct

@cheatcountry, I remember this script seems to have appeared in other places, perhaps referring to other people's script code! I used to be very confused, but I thought my knowledge level was insufficient and I didn't understand! ! Thank you for solving my confusion.

@levith, no worries
