QuantNomad

QuantNomad - Ultimate Pivot Points Alerts

Created a universal script for pivot points alerts.
In the script, you can choose one of 4 pivot point types: Traditional, Fibonacci, Woodie, and Camarilla .

You are able to create separate alerts for every level or create one for price crossing any level.
For separate levels, you can choose: "Cross", "Crossover" and "Crossunder".

You can also choose to show/hide:
Historical Levels
Levels Values
Current Levels - Levels calculated on the current period, on close of the period they will become valid levels for next periods. These levels do not participate in alerts calculations.

Because of some TradingView limitations, alerts won't be fired for the first bar of the session.
In the script used new v4 plotting features, so will be able to plot levels and labels nicely. Unfortunately, there is a limit on the number of consecutive lines you can plot on the plot (around 50), so historical lines in the past will disappear after 6-7 periods.

I don't see that the cam pivots are being calculated properly. The black lines are where R3 and S3 should be but it does not look like it is aligning with how you are calculating.

@dane4, Yep, this is because you're using extended hours. My script calculates pivots based on all bars on the screen. Buil-in version only regular hours. If you'll remove extended hours they should be close.

Hi, thanks for sharing this. Do you know how we can extend the pivot lines to the right up to when the period will end? Similar to what the TV Pivot Points do?

I tried with extend.right but that extends the pivots infinitely which is not what I'm looking for.

Thanks,

Hi, two pivot points indicator on my screen. There's something wrong. Let me explain :
- On tradingview : The indicator with white text is the code of QuantNomad and we have P : 12 397 , R1 : 12 457, R2 : 12497
- On tradingview : The indicator with green text is the standart pivot points code (native) and we have : P : 12 392.4, R1 : 12 461.6 , R2 : 12 505.9

I'm not sure which one is wrong because on the FXCM marketscope i get the same values for P, R1 and R2 as your code...
Just a little bit confused right now
Does someone have the answer ?

I fixed the problem with :
open_cur = security(syminfo.tickerid, pp_res, open)
For every open/close etc.

With this change, the code displays wrong values first and after correct them. It seems to be an intern error. Maybe you could correct and share this ? :)

@Fred6724, Hi. Can you try to add extended hours to the chart?
There is a difference when you apply to some stuff with extended hours. Sometimes close of the day include extended hours close, sometimes not.
I use what I see on the chart. If you do not display extended hours there might be a difference.

@QuantNomad, Hi, I heard that this is not possible with FXCM unfortunately.
Phrase mention this or correct your code :)
