The 2 Pole Super Smoother Filter was created by John Ehlers (Cycle Analytics For Traders pg 32) and this follows the price very closely and very useful because it is consistent with uptrends and falls sharply during a sudden downtrend so it should be able to help you stay more profitable. Buy when the indicator line turns green and sell when it turns red.

@blackcat1402, repainting is turned off by default with all of my indicators but if you are only looking at past historical data then you would want to turn repainting on

@phonorv10, In live trading, you should always have repainting turned off because the current bar might still be open which can give incorrect signals based on the open bar's data. In historical backtesting however, you want to make sure to have repainting turned on because all bars have already closed so there is no reason to ignore the latest bar.
