Timeframe Continuity

Amazon.com, Inc.NASDAQ

Beschreibung

Based on Rob Smith from T3Live's "The Strat" system.

Places an indicator on the top right of the chart that shows if the current bar on the current or higher timeframe is red or green.

Allows the user to identify timeframe continuity or conflicting timeframes at a glance.

Not recommended for those who have not completed Rob's course.

Versionshinweise

Script will now draw a yellow circle behind the associated arrow if the current bar is inside.

Indicator has also been moved to the bottom of the screen by default.

Versionshinweise

Moved default location back to top.

Versionshinweise

A silver square will now display behind the associated red/green arrow if the current bar is outside.

Changed location of bars to the right of the current bar to improve visibility.

This script is designed for those who view multiple symbols simultaneously and do not have the screen space to view all time frame charts at the same time.

The Strat

Versionshinweise

I use this in my trading and is very useful. I would love to see an intraday version of this. ie. Hour, 30, 15, 5, 2.

@fish888 that's an interesting idea. I'll look into it.

love this script...a guy in the strat group created a tradestation code that listed the actual prices of the M W D and hourly bar that is required to reach TFC. Then he had the software put a line on the chart that once broken will achieve TFC....any plans for anything like that? Thank you for a great script!

@fish888, Hi fish888. Did you have a chance to find something similar to the one from Joe Poole who created FTFC for Tradestation? A line on the chart is awesome.

@fish888, seems doable to list the prices under each letter. I'd probably avoid the lines for v1. @boardriderb, this would be a great addition

@fish888, If you still are looking for the lines, you can combine this with my "Multiple time frame levels" script.

Would you mind sharing the pine script on how you did this indicator? I'd like to do something similar and find the simplicity of the way yours is displayed to be more ideal than some of the other label examples out there.

For some reason I cannot see it under de Monthly chart, any suggestions?

I think there might be a problem with the TFC indicator.
See screenshot below of SPY 30 min chart on March 10, 2022 where it shows H and D green, but price is still below D open.
I think D should be red here, no?
