@andrewjshum, i think the volume is lower now because this is a poloniex chart , as alot of people have moved to other different exchanges half way through 2017 , if you look at the bittrex's xrp chart, you will see its doing the complete opposite. Less volume in May and alot more volume now.

@getHi9h, the 1st of the 55 billion contract got released on 31st January or 1st of Feb - idk know it exactly - this is why i am saying it has to occur before that...
