A potential 2618 setup is closing in on 15min XAUUSD. Price is currently meeting resistance at a previous strong support level looking back on higher time frame. Perhaps this could add to the case with the price consolidating around this area, and just maybe push price back down enough for us to profit. Im not looking for extended targets, only retest of the previous leg falling from the second top down to the recent low.
Order is pending, lets see if we get filled.

It took us a while, we had to stand in line, but target was reached. Yup!
With 2618 it's good to have 2 trades opened and put sl of the 2nst to breakeven when first target is hit. well, but unfortunatly this would not have helped here in this one.

@ernstschwarz, Held it out til the end, its best not to dwell on a placed trade, as long as ones rules have been met, and accept a loss aswell as a winner. Yes, if there's something more that signals a bigger move I'd too prefer a second position with a bigger target. I believe that idea is shown in some of my recent trades, a EURJPY I think, with 2618 and a bigger gartley in the background. :)
