@Aetherial, Hi, I've been where you are and I empathise. I'm no expert but I think we've bottomed at 1122 and there are a few experts who would agree. If right that means we are now in wave 1 and wave 2 in EW rules can return to almost the start of wave 1 (but can't go lower!!!). This may mean that we are going to see exactly the same pattern of double bottom we saw last December. You'll have to decide whether you want to sell at a loss at the top of this wave 1 or whether you have the stomach to sit tight and watch it go back to 1123 or thereabouts (but maybe lower if we haven't bottomed yet) and then sell much higher in wave 3. Or maybe a combination of the 2 strategies. Good luck!

@Finenance, If I'd close all my longs on gold now I'd be over 16000 behind, which is out of the question. If it falls below 1110 which is my current stop loss I'll be 25000 behind. Either way I won't be much concerned about money then because my only expense will be a rather stern piece of rope as I will be completely broke almost.
I need at least 1185 - 1190 level to close my positions with relative piece of mind (some in green some in red), and over 1240 to close all of them in red. So all I'm left with is to wait and pray now.

@Finenance, Though if I'd close them with a loss of 16k instead of 25k then I won't have to buy a rope as I should have enough money for a gun. So that's some good news I guess. xD

@Aetherial, I understand the problem - just trying to give you a little bit of a look into the (possible) future. I think there is a good chance this plays out very similarly to last December although even as I write this there is a massive fight going on at 1131. I still think bull will win but the upside may not be that high until the new year and we could be back here before Xmas. Assuming you survive this experience I doubt you'll get so overexposed again. Every cloud has a silver lining :)

Though I'd much rather see 1200 or even 1250.
Anything above 1250 would be a glorious overkill.
