Are patterns like head and shoulder more "powerful" than a signal like engulfing patterns?

@JonathanMcBrine, There's no clear answer to this since TA is almost a self fulfilling prophecy. If more people uses head and shoulders than engulfing patterns which will make H&S more powerful.
