SPX500 arches over the full moon theory Short

S&P 500 index of US listed sharesFXCM

Beschreibung

No I have not totally lost it, but noticed something staring into the charts again. The rise from full moon to no moon is consistent, and note the arcs over the full moons previously. Don't know what to call this pattern, but it is consistent, maybe a Cartley, or a Wartley, or a Smartley, but I trade what I see. The RSI makes sense to have this arc happen. Bought some VXX options today, and did not take profits at the end before the final snap down. Just think this arc plays out, just a hunch, and the fact that Bulkowski is calling this a very bearish trend now.

This is a diametric pattern per neowave. Its characteristic is that it has 7 legs and they are very regular in their time and expansion/contraction.
I think this is what created your moon-price relationships this time: icharts.in/forum/files/neo_wave_patterns_206.pdf

Btw, that pitchfork looks great.

Yeh, I think too, Pitchfork makes sense. And this retracement from the bottom (of the actual S&P top) is right at 50% which is the optimum percentage rise after a quick drop. Another of many factors that make me think OK here we are, now its back down again, and where is the hope here. GDP number did not amaze. One more thing, the vertical blue line is first trading day after Labor Day. Historically, the "Hampton Traders" come back in the market after the summer, and volume picks up. So with this kind of volatility, and higher volumes, DO NOT LEAVE YOUR MOUSE or your house, do not even take a potty break, snack break, anything break, from active trades, you could miss a lot. This also goes with my oil theory. This oil spike is the first commodity spike, gold is next, food, and steel soon, might have to take a look at "X". These are all at historic lows. If I had major bucks, I would consider just buying everything that is at all time lows, and stop day trading. Just watch it grow, and grow, and grow. Just a thought, nah, maybe not.
