SPX500/XAUUSD: Stocks/Gold ratio warns of a top Short

SPX500/XAUUSDFXCM

Beschreibung

The S&P500 and Gold ratio is turning down sharply today, if we break yesterday's low, or break today's low on close, during tomorrow's session, we could see a sharp drop in equities, as evidenced by the shift in sentiment the ratio shows.
I'd reccomend closing equity longs, or even shorting DIA or SPY and pair it with GLD longs, basing size on 1 month ATR on each leg of the pair.

Nice, i have the same kind of thought looking at the formation of a bullish rainbow with the moving averages on the Gold Dow ratio monthly chart

And by the way, a big congrat for your activity on tradingview

Thanks for your comments and kind words.
I think this is the case, we might be witneseeing the start of a big correction in equities.

I've been adding gold developers the last few weeks, reducing equity Beta and adding to cash in my portfolio...and I am the most relaxed I have been in sometime! If equities keep heading north then the subsequent fall will just be larger :)
