Exponential Growth

CME:SP1!   S&P 500 Futures
Exponential growth is a pattern of data that shows greater increases with passing time, creating the curve of an exponential function
You can walk in pink glasses and think that there will be eternal growth. But observations and experience say the opposite. After such growth and when everyone is in euphoria and a very good news background and a drop occurs. In the beginning for no reason. then social media will find a logical explanation, but most likely it will be an explanation for everyone, not the real reason. And there are many reasons for the fall, I expect this fall this year.

Given the speed of the current S&P 500 run, we may very well be in wave 3 of 3, not wave 5. Meaning Wave 3 is an extended wave and your count may be incorrect. Where you have minor wave 3 and 4 should maybe be minute 1 and 2.

I hate to tell the economic collapse blog, but the world economy has absolutely grown since 2007. 60%+ of the S&P 500's revenues are derived outside of the United States, so it is no longer a U.S. index. It is international. Since 2007, global industrial production is up, productivity is up, global unemployment is down, the inflation adjusted S&P 500 is hitting all-time highs (broke out above 2007 highs about a year ago).

I'm not saying that there won't be a bear market soon. This is expected as this expansion has lasted twice the average length of the average historical expansion. However, the next recession is going to be like any other. The world will not end, humanity will change, adapt and recover, and life will go on regardless of the indices growing exponentially before hand. Every other period of exponential stock market growth has also led to a bear market but then a recovery to a new all-time high. The future will be no different unless the world starts sending nuclear bombs for Christmas gifts.
