I like your 5 being the top of wave 3 better. That would mean a wave 4 that didn't break the rules ;)

@Cherity, I am still leaning towards my count because the candle did not close in the region of wave 1. In addition, the wick happened on Dec22 when the flash crash happened. I think it is still going to be valid if we give the wick a pass.

@AlexCh, your wave 4 overlaps 1 massively and not with a small wick. More days worth of price action. I wont be giving that a pass.
