I think the price will drop for sure after the airdrop. Meanwhile Ignis went on to 6.75 USD on HitBTC. Even Ignis price might drop after airdrop.

@pvsnphard, I don't think so it works if we have NXT on trading platforms. You should have them on NXT wallet to get free Ignis.
