First time in stockmarket history the global econoy is showing strong upside momentum. Stockmarkets showing this in Q$ 2017 by new records. It´s not only about record highs. Same time the momentum is also mirrored by several record consecutive closing highs or winning streaks without major corrections like in the SPX.
@casanowak, call it "Momentum". To play <Momentum> is part of stockmarket trading. To bet against any momentum is something what retail traders sometimes doing in bull or bearmarkets. Intention is mostly that any trend is comming to an end. Even the US Markets and Japan now showing new record winning streaks. It should be more logical to anticipate that more markets might follow.
@casanowak, even the HSI is reflecting the strong global fundamentals. First time in history ever all major global economies showing upside momentum. The PSI, HSI and other indices showing similar strong momentum to the upside. Allmost non major stockmarket index right now showing any pattern indicating a long term market top. It´s hard to understand that retail traders are not aware about this. I guess one reason might be small traders focused on charts and "indicators" only same time ignoring that every day economic indicators are telling a clear view.
