@hjschaap, I agree that BTC will almost definitely go under 2k and should do so in the relative near term. I just wonder if there really is much of a real long term future for it, I tend to think it will survive but it will be a rough go for a time.

I really agree with your long term view of BTC & LTC, good work. Many other people's view is way to limited to the near future, so it's good to see there are still people out there thinking as I do :-)
Any thoughts on a long term view for ETH?

FYI I repeat my comment I made earlier this day under a BTC analysis of another trader here on TV because I have the feeling it might fight here as well:
imo many people didn't sell BTC at 6k - 5k - 4k - 3k because there are still some shots of hopium left in their syringes. I think we're still in an early stage of despair in this market. People have only just begun to wonder if BTC can ever again fall that low as 1k - but the real destruction of every last hope, the real panic selling did not happen yet. That is still to come. At the moment the majority is still discussing the fate of BTC, becaue there still is interest and hope. The real denial will come when noone wants to talk about BTC anymore. When all these comments vanish and everyone will walk away. Then will be the time to buy. Sounds fatalistic? Maybe. Just my 2 cents ;-)
And I here want to add: After this phase there will be another major bull run, all it takes is time. Maybe a lot longer than many think.
