⋅ Was checking out ETHBTC on poloniex from a larger perspective as it is currently sitting at all time highs.

Including Ethereum classic... I think there could be some sort of monster rally ahead.
Assuming that the flag holds, you can long here with tight stop loss. Limited risk.
finally the bids on etc in bitfinex's book is as thick as fu`ck.
