The headlines are showing, how long even Zerohedge needs to understand, what´s going on and how huge the short is (fo a single hedgefonds - and for European Stockmarkets). There are also now traders starting to buy what Dalio sold. And they are right in stocks like Airbus wich made a new all time high on Friday, January 16th.

@cr, at times it is better to stay at the sidelines. The largest daily DAX gain is 11,13%, End of 2008, after the Lehman Crash. Bridgewater is adding more short positions into a falling market. They are closing in now to 1% in some stocks. Also they are shorting Italy, Spain, France and Netherlands increasingly. Even Bridgewater has 160 Billion USDollar AUM this is an aggressive trade and this is a huge trade for a singe Large Investor only.If downside momentum stops and buyers stepping in markets go up very fast. If Investors know now, that one Hedgefunds is trying to dominate a market than they will likely bet against him. Also the attacked companies could announce stock repurchase programs (simultaneously) to stop getting attacked.
It would not trade anything longer than a few hours. If markets going down than short, if up than long,
